An old favourite.
We have had a copy of his book for years. However when my son left home last year he took the piano and most of the music we owned, including the copy of this book. Having just bought myself an electric piano I wanted to replace the copy he took and was really please when I was able to obtain it on Amazon. It arrived really quickly. The book has a good variety of well known pieces at a not too difficult level, although being a rusty pianist of not too brilliant a standard - I think passed Grade 6 music exam about 50 years ago - some of the pieces are a little challenging for me at present. Hopefully will get better with practise. Really good book and value for money

A treasure trove of favourites
I've recently returned to the piano after about 20 years of not playing, and this book has been an absolute joy! I bought it because I wanted to learn the tune from 'Listen with Mother', but have found so many other favourites in it too - tunes I've only recognised once I've started to play them, pieces known to me as 'that song from Room with a View', 'that tune from Classic FM for Babies', 'the one Dad used to like', etc. The book sits open on the piano, and I can't go a day without a quick fix from it! My poor old grade exam books (all the pieces I meant to resurrect after buying the piano) have been left to yellow in the music rack. I'm a Grade 6 (or was), but I think some of these pieces have been transposed into an easier key than the original, making many of them suitable for players at about a Grade 4. This is a bonus for me - I just want to play for fun. But I guess a more serious pianist might feel the simplification is cheating a bit. Anyway, I love the book, and would recommend it to anyone returning to the keyboard, or who wants to play cracking tunes for fun - and isn't too worried about the authenticity. Now, shall I treat myself to 'More Tunes You've Always Wanted to Play' too...?

Good easy piano book
I really like this product, I think many of the songs which you have always wanted to learn or have heard as a pianist from a young age are in it and there's lots of songs and the notes are all really clear

Variation of songs to play
Good selection of piano pieces. Some easy some difficult, although depends what level you can play at. Generally a good book to buy. I wanted it for my own use so as to practice again.

a good book to work on between grades 4 - 7 ...
I already had a copy of this, a good book to work on between grades 4 - 7 perhaps. Was appreciated by my friend who started studying piano as an adult. Arrived quickly on Prime.

I am 12 years old and working on my Grade 3 piano. I really like this book because it has loads of traditional and classical pieces. I can play most of the tunes although they are quite difficult. I wouldn't recommend this book to beginners. My personal favourite is 'Claire de lune' by Debussy. I can play the whole thing now. The piece is beautiful.

Sound impressive with basic skills!
This is the second time I have purchased this book. As an amateur pianist in my 40s with a few years of childhood lessons as my sole competence, I play for the love of the music, rather than an expression of my technical ability. I enjoyed this book so much that I purchased the second in the series “More Tunes You’ve Always Wanted to Play”. When my sister (with similarly basic skills) came to visit, we played together, and I promptly ordered two more for her. We now impress others (but mostly ourselves!) with our ability to play Chopin, Beethoven and Rachmaninov. The plastic spiral binding is especially useful for page-turning. Highly recommended!!!

Una buona raccolta per chi inizia
Le trascrizioni sono molto semplici, ideali per chi studia il piano dal terzo al quinto anno . I brani impegnativi sono molto pochi ma la selezione è buona

Great, Easy Way To Revive Your Piano Skills
I was going to Florida for four months and decided to bring my keyboard. I have not played for quite a while because of arthritis, but I decided to give it a try. This book is very helpful and contains many favorites. The seller also was quick to mail it and it arrived in perfect condition.
