Why did the software crash?

The primary cause is insufficient power from the USB ports. Please plug both USB cables into the computer, use a self-powered USB hub, or reduce the brightness of the light strip.

Why are the colors of the light strips inaccurate in sync mode?

It's likely because your computer has automatic HDR enabled. You can manually adjust colors within the software.

Do I need to install software?

Yes. Skydimo desktop software is required for Screen Sync and software-based lighting control. Connect the light, install Skydimo, confirm the device, select your display.

Can the Strip Light be used on Xbox, PS5, and TV?

Compatible Skydimo builds are available for Windows and macOS. Windows 10+ is recommended. On Mac, Screen Recording permission is required for Screen Sync. Does not support any other devices.

Will Screen Sync work with DRM-protected content?

Not always. Some DRM-protected streaming services or restricted games may block screen capture, which can limit Screen Sync. Skydimo does not bypass DRM or alter protected content.
