Almost studio results from compact sizes.
The packaging was small so the first box of being compact was checked. I needed something light for on the go. And the price was good. Now for the quality.I was surprised. Actually pretty good. The mini-softbox is brilliant and collapses flat for storage. It works every bit as good if not better than my stofen omni-bounce.Since it was a good enouh replacement for my omni-bounce, i decided to use the velcro strap on that instead of my flash like they show in their picture. I will add some pics below. Also the gels are great colors. And they fit inside the pull out diffuser on my 430ex ii. Just fyi.For portraits I use the large reflector. If you are outside and use the silver side you can get just enough light over a face reflected from the sun without carrying a giant reflector. Granted, the giant reflector is better hands down bit this could work in a pinch. You can also combine the mini softbox and the large reflector for some great directional or hair light.For what I have seen this is a great set for a beginner to get that light difused and focused properly in the right direction.
