Steinberg UR22mkII USB 2.0 Audio Interface with Dual Microphone Preamps with R100 Stereo Headphones (Black)

I absolutely love this thing. It’s perfect for a small home studio for an individual; not sure how it would be in terms of supporting a full band. But for a stand alone musician, it’s really all you need and it’s very portable as well. It offers two line inputs to support guitars, bass, and phantom power for a condenser mic, as well as midi input and output for keys and drum machines.Cubase AI is included, which makes it perfect for someone looking to get into recording. I personally bought it to be able to jam with friends online with Jamkazam and the recording is a bonus. Having said it, it more than meets my needs. The sounds quality is very good, there is very little feedback, and the unit is very user friendly, with multiple input/output faders, and volume controls. Again, this unit is perfect for the standalone musician, and should meet most needs unless you’re looking to recording more than two tracks at once (I.e. a full band live recording). Great value for the price, I’d definitely recommend it and would buy it again.

I liked the interface. It seems to work well, especially with monitors. Sound is full. The Cubase Software that comes with it is a bit more involved, but I liked the simplicity of the steinberg.

Buenas noches, hace 5 meses (10.octubre. 2018) compre la interfaz Steinberg ur22mkii USB 2.0, y hasta el momento he tenido problema en el proceso de grabación por un defecto interno. Probé diferentes software o daws, pensando que era la solución, pero el problema sigue y tambien probé instalando los drivers en otros computadores y descargando los drivers directamente de la pagina de steinberg yamaha, por tanto solicito amablemente el cambio del producto o devolución del dinero ya que esta situación ha sido desfavorableEspero su pronta respuestaMuchas gracias

I'm new to home recording and purchased this to start recording vocals and backing tracks via Garageband. Still figuring out the GB interface, but very pleased with this unit.

After a firmware update via the Steinberg website and installing the updated drivers, this unit works like a charm and as advertised. I'm pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to my friends.

My son got this. One important criteria was that it work with linux. He has it up and running with Ubuntu Studio.

Interface arrived fine. Did not come with headphones, as advertised.
