It just fits :-)
The fit is perfect for my Broan range hood. This new one replaced an older filter that did not have the charcoal filter. Not much to say other than it fit perfectly and it took all of five minutes to install this. It flexes a bit but you can bend it back into shape if something happens. It's good, solid value.No interference with the fan, functions as expected.

Perfect Fit, Remember To Change Your Stove Hood Filter!
This filter is perfect. It is the exact filter I needed for my stove hood the dimensions and fit are exactly as described. I didn't realize how disgusting the filter on it was. And also how much of a fire hazard it could potentially be, especially when it's full of grease and above very hot cookware. It's going to depend on your specific stove hood, but mine was super easily to install. It was just held on by a little piece of plastic that you move to insert and take out the filter, like a picture frame.For the money, the quality and fit is unmatched. Please remember to change your filters!
