As Has Been Said IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY and outshines all other belly bands!!
This product is amazing. I cannot say enough wonderful things about it. I am 34 weeks pregnant and this is my 3rd pregnancy. Throughout the end of my 2nd pregnancy I could barely walk without excruciating pain. I later found out that I had SPD (moderate to severe pubic bone pain due to the spreading or separation of the ligaments in the pubic symphysis area). During my second pregnancy my sweet husband bought me several prenatal massages to try and treat the pain, but the relief only lasted a day or two at best. I was hopeful that maybe with this pregnancy I would be okay, but for the last few weeks I've been in agony again. And once again we were looking at massage therapy to relieve the pain. While waiting for my ob to return from delivering a baby so I could have my biweekly check up, I decided to go to a nearby spa and see if they could fit me in for a prenatal massage that day. Given their proximity to an ob's office, they have a lot of products catered to pregnant women. As I began describing my pain to a spa employee, she whipped out one of these belly bands and suggested I give it a try. She measured my belly and suggested I try on a medium (I am 5' 10" and 200 lbs and measured 42" around my belly). It was INCREDIBLE. The relief was immediate. I was absolutely stunned, walking around the spa with absolutely no pain. I was thrilled... until she mentioned the price. $70?? I was sure I could find something cheaper that would work just as well. So I called my local Babies R Us and they assured me they had a vast selection of belly bands for me to choose from. So after my ob check up, I went to Babies R Us and tried on a few bands. None of them really helped, but I decided to go ahead and purchase one of the cheaper ones. I figured any support was better than no support. After I got home I strapped on the cheaper band and gave it a test run. After nearly an hour of wearing the cheaper band, I realized how wrong I was. Not only did it just not support my belly, but it would roll up on itself and then it would be digging into my back and sides. My husband ultimately insisted that I return the less expensive band and he ordered this one from Amazon. And I am SO happy he did!! I have worn this belly band for 2 days now and I feel almost normal; no pain, just bigger around :D If you are wondering if this is worth the price, let me reassure you, IT IS and then some! I spent around $200 during my last pregnancy trying to find this kind of relief. I wish I could go back 3 years and give myself this band and save myself $130. As far as the complaints about the Velcro not working after a few washes, it makes me wonder if they are following the washing directions. Hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry. If they were washed in a machine that could damage the Velcro. I imagine using any type of fabric softener might do that as well. I have only had mine a few days though. I will update in a few weeks. ***UPDATE*** I used this successfully through the end of my third pregnancy and it was a life saver! I had no problem with the Velcro losing grip. My band saw me through the last 6 weeks of my last pregnancy. My sister ended up borrowing it for the last 2 months of her last pregnancy (she has a shorter torso than me and struggles with carrying babies for a lot longer before it becomes a problem for me). She said it was great and asked if she could borrow it her next time around :) I am pregnant again and am relieved to know that I have this ready and waiting as soon as I start to need extra support. I love this product!!

A must-have for Twin Mamas!
If you are carrying multiples, you MUST get this belly band. It's expensive, but worth every single penny. I'm currently 7 months pregnant with twins. This band keeps my electric right-side round ligament pain away, and helps keep my long "get off your feet" evening contractions at bay. I'm usually a size Medium in pants, a size 8/10 dress size, so ordered a Black Large-sized band at about 5 months along. *I recommend sizing up!! This band carried me up until exactly 28 weeks, when I started noticing the velcro not sticking very well (specifically the female non-scratchy side.. it looked like it was combed out with no more fluff for the velcro to grab onto, which makes sense given the daily usage.) In a panic (if you've ever had round ligament pain, you can relate!!), I ordered the White XLarge-size. Note: If you're a singleton Mama, this band may last you longer than what I have experienced. With multiples, our tummies grow double-fast, so once the weight started packing on it was time for an upsize and new band. I wanted to test the efficacy of the velcro on the white compared with the black, due to another highly-rated review stating the white was lower quality. So, drumroll.. It's great and equally as awesome as the black. Both are sticky, both relieve pain, and both hold up this gigantic tummy carrying two babies. A double thumbs up. Pros of the black: I found wearing the band over black maternity yoga pants (Ingrid & Isabel from Target make nice capris) feels very comfortable. And the black band blends right into the pants, which is nice. Pros of the white: If you wear a light colored, thinner fabric dress or top, white would be less visible. But when you hit the third trimester, it's really tomatos tomahtos. Before my belly got large and I could fully appreciate this band, I tried the AZMED Maternity Belt. This $25 band is great for early on when belly weight is minimal. Huge pro here is that it's nude. The AZMED band itself is thinner also, so it doesn't have the band-ridge along your back, like the Belly Bandit. It's not a deal breaker, but the Belly Bandit is pretty obvious under a thinner-fabric dress, especially when you get larger and those once-flowy maxi dresses start becoming a little more body-hugging. ; ) I try to go back and wear my flowy dresses wearing the nude AZMED, but always ALWAYS end up getting terrible round ligament pains and contractions after an hour or so. Where, the Belly Bandit keeps me supported all afternoon. Comfort over discreet fashion at this point. I tell ya, Belly Bandit is the way to go! It's a blessing!!

Great quality and fit, helps my back pain
This is a great quality belt. I've researched a lot of the available belts out there before settling on this one. Although a bit more expensive than some of the others, it had a lot of great reviews so I decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did. The belt is super soft and is easy to put on. It has a built in pocket and comes with an insert that can be heated in a microwave or frozen like an ice pack, great for those back muscle aches! The brochure that came with it says you can turn the belt around after your baby is delivered and use the heat pack to soothe your belly muscles as you heal. I'm a pre-pregnancy size 10-12 and ordered the L size. It fits great so far. I got it at about 23 weeks and so far at 29 weeks it still fits good. My doctor recommended getting one to ease my pelvic pain and back pain. My back pain is practically non-existent when I wear the belt, however it doesn't help my pelvic pain at all which is why I took one star off the rating.

Life saver!
This saved my life during my pregnancy! It gave me the belly, hip, and back support I needed to move around and get things done - or even just to go for a walk. PRO TIP: Go to the company's website to determine your size. I would have definitely ordered the wrong size if I hadn't double checked.

This thing is a Godsend!!
I tried this maternity support on in person a couple weeks ago but did not purchase because I thought it was too pricey. After trying on others that didn't feel the same, and even purchasing one from Babies R Us then returning it {too hot, too many pieces, too complicated}, I returned to the store and found out the Mediums were backordered *tear*. I came to Amazon and grabbed a medium, and received my package in less than 1 week. The packaging was not good. It arrived squashed and the band was outside the box but inside the shipping envelope. I'm desperate so I kept it and LOVE THIS THING!! CONS: ~ Price, but ultimately I'm finding that it's worth it. ~ I've heard from shorter women that it's hard to sit in. I am 6'1" and have no issue wearing it to stand or sit. I just make sure it's adjusted at the base of my stomach and not on my bladder. PROS: ~ soft, no pain points ~ breathable, not hot ~ adjustable, no noticable Velcro part, entire band is part of Velcro fastener ~ immediate relief. My ankles haven't swollen since I put this thing on! a-fricken-mazing. my back is not hurting, my stomach doesn't feel like it's pulling down at the top. I'm 32 weeks 1 day and baby is 3lbs 9oz if you're curious. ~ reversible. I haven't needed to reverse it just yet, but I do have a c-section planned and will happily use it to ease the discomfort and hold my belly parts in when necessary I haven't used the hot/cold pack yet either but it's a great idea. I did stick my cell phone in there last night with great success though so I'm thinking that'll be an awesome kangaroo pounch for "stuff" when baby gets here LOL! Update 5/30/12: I've washed it since and it washes well. The weather has heated up into the 90s and it's comfortable but does add a bit of warmth around the mid section {as I suspect they all do}. It's definitely breathable and absorbent though. Lastly I had another shorter friend {5 foot 1 inch} say this didn't work for her. I always wear mine high on my back and like a sling under my navel so it's not on my bladder and I can sit down, but remember I'm 6 foot 1 inch tall. Hope that helps!

Good for 2nd trimester - bad in 3rd after lots of wears
Overall - it was good in the beginning, but I don't wear it as much in my 3rd trimester because it's too much to deal with and the exposed velcro due to the creases is a pain. Read on for details... Had this for a few months now - loved it at first! I started using it in my second trimester and it immediately helped give me relief and back support. After more usage, and my pregnant belly growing more, I started using it less. It definitely is like a bra for your belly - so it would push my belly up and give it a weird shape and push it out more (like bras do). I didn't love how it made my belly look, and I wasn't getting the back benefits I felt earlier on from wearing it. I have washed it a few times and laid flat to dry, but there are permanent creases that haven't gone away along the velcro area where you secure it. I might try ironing it on low heat. The creases are a problem because it leaves the velcro exposed when you wear it, which really irritates my skin. My solve for this was to have the velcro be exposed at the bottom and made sure that it just rubbed against my underwear instead of my skin. Having to make sure your underwear is tucked underneath the band makes it a bit of a hassle when going to the bathroom. Either you take this thing off completely and have the velcro noise to deal with - or you have to do some tucking when you pull your undies back up. It was much easier when I would just pull my undies over the band and be on my way.

hurts!
I bought this product cause I had a lot of pressure on the bottom of my belly & also back, pelvic, & hip pain... It looked good on the description but when it arrived & I opened it I realized this will not work but yet I decided to give it a try... why it doesn't work? well, when u have a big belly, it's going to be hard to close a bandit underneath it.. & when u finally do, it starts to wrinkle & becomes like a band which hurts even more... it didn't help with my hip or back pain either & it made me want to pee more often (as if any pregnant would tolerate that)... I returned it to the company SPH but they charged me 5$ for the shipping price (though it originally was supposed to be shipped for free!!). not to mention that I paid 8.5 $ to ship it back to the seller!! so basically I lost 14 dollars for nothing! If u need to get a real relief, I would suggest the babies-r-us belly band... it's almost half the price, & instead of having to struggle to fix it underneath ur belly, the pulling bands actually stick on the sides! it relieved by back & hip pain & I think it took pressure off my bladder so I don't have to pee as much! look it up, it works!!!

A must for big bellied short ladies
I am 4 foot 11 with a very short torso on my third pregnancy. Needless to say, the only place for baby to go has been out- really out. By week 23, i knew i was in trouble when my lower back started hurting so i looked into finally purchasing one of these belly bandits. I was on the fence last time as i read a review about it being uncomfortable when sitting down and since i'm a stay at home mom, i am sitting on and off all day and didn't think this brace would work for me (what a pain if i have to take it off every time i sit down). I was totally wrong. This brace has been amazing!!! When i first put it on, i thought it wasn't doing much but now after wearing it every day i see a huge difference in my back aches. I even wear it sitting down which provides a lot of back support on the couch or dining room chair. Many people have complained about the creasing but i haven't noticed- i do tend to adjust it when i am about the sit down so it is a bit lower in the front to not put so much pressure on the belly and higher on my back. I think it keeps it from creasing. My body is also all hip and butt (my butt sticks out) which perhaps sits a little better without creasing? I love that i can adjust the pressure making it tighter if i'm going to be exercising or doing some more bouncier things vs just standing around. I will say that it doesn't work in the car. I've tried several times but the way i sit in the car just puts too much pressure on my lower belly if i try to wear the brace. The material is soft and light weight so it molds to your body really nicely. I haven't washed it yet and really don't see much of a need as it's always over a shirt and under a lightweight sweater or cardigan. It comes with a cold or hot pack with a pocket but have yet to use it. Overall, i highly recommend this brace to all shorter pregnant ladies feeling the big belly load on your lower back. It's worth the money.

Totally helps and works!
After reading the reviews I decided to take a risk with this belly support. This is my third c-section and I have to say that this product has really helped me, not only with support, but also it has helped my belly get back to shape quickly. I looked at other brands of similar nature but being a woman with a shirt waist gave this a go. I highly recommend.

So happy
I wish I’d had this for my first two pregnancies. It doubles or triples the time I can comfortably stay on my feet. Very comfortable. Pricey but worth it. I sized up and am glad I did.

Indispensable
