Great Chicken House!
This is a great coop for the price! I have 2 large chickens and 3 bantams and there is plenty of room. Easy clean-up, we use a paint scraper on the metal tray. Added 2 fans, one upstairs and one downstairs since I live in Florida. Easy assembly with 2 persons, one to build and one to hold and pass out all the screws.

Easy to set up and use.
Like the coop. Took a few days for the chickens to get used to it, but they are very comfortable with it now. Lots of room for them to nest and relax upstairs. Very easy to assemble. Sturdy.

Good starter coop for a few hens - but plan to replace the hinges.
This was easy to set up by myself using just a power screwdriver - it took me about two hours. The hinges on the nesting box covers were very weak and I ended up replacing them with stronger hinges from my local hardware store but otherwise everything is in working condition! It's a great beginner coop and I have 5 hens who are comfy inside in the evenings. I wouldn't recommend this as the only square footage for that many chickens but with our enclosed run and the ability to free-roam the yard anytime we're home, this is great. Without a run, I would only recommend this for 2-3 birds as the "downstairs" is pretty small.

Cleaning
We are first time chick owners. We thought this would be a great starter coop. It was easy to put together and seems quite sturdy and looks very nice. I really fell in love with it but the doors are very small you can barely reach in. I thought cleaning would be a breeze with the pull out tray. I was wrong. You can barely put any pine shavings in there and if you put just a little too much it gets stuck and you have to put your hand in there and unclog it. also, where the first ramp is going up, the wood is right by the wire. and the pine shavings get stuck between the wire and the wood, and you can’t get it out even with a sprayer it won’t move. then also in the corner. at the bottom of the ramp there’s a piece of wood that supports the ramp. A pine shavings gets stuck in there too, and you can’t dig them out. I also think the ramp would be easier to clean if it was just wood , the roof shingle material seems to be harder to clean. I ended up paying 358. With the shipping. I wish I would’ve gotten a bigger one for more money or tried to build one ourselves.

Do not buy
Very small, awkward to move, cheaply materials, putting it together was awful. Might be good for the tiniest of chickens or maybe quail? Regrettable purchase. Not sure if alternatives are any good and feel better off building my own.

2 Year Update
2 years in….This is the best, most secure (if you set it up right) coop we’ve ever owned. I had 2-3 previously from TSC, they all either broke or rotted pretty quickly, and were not secure. Tip: Keep it off the ground (use chicken wire under so nothing can get under) so bottom doesn’t rot. The soil will rot the wood at the bottom if you don't, exposing opportunities for prey. Comfortably houses 8 chickens nightly. Easy to clean, nothing has faded or broken, even the latches still have gold finish. No leaks and it still looks fantastic for as much abuse as it’s taken. It’s protected my girls from a forest next door; there have been several failed attempts by foxes, possums, skunks, and raccoons (just what I’ve seen) to kill them. This is a well designed and secure coop. My girls don’t care for the “runner” attachment per se, but they love to stand on it, and you would about have to build steps to get them up to the door otherwise. The only time I’ve ever seen them inside of it was when a hawk was close, so it’s handy if you’re local to birds of prey. The first pics are 1 year in, last 3 photos show minimal damage after 2 years

Good quality
This coop came promptly. It was easy to assemble with the exception of a few instructions but i figured it out. My chickens are loving their new home.
