desertcart.com: CIVPOWER Portable Neck Fan White, Black : Home & Kitchen Review: Best neck fan!!!! - Why did you pick this product vs others?: These are a game changer for hot days/sports events!! Multiple speeds and the charge lasts a long time. I have long hair and it doesn’t get stuck in the fan, so no worries there! Adults and kids love them!! Worth the purchase for sure! Review: Can’t go anywhere without my neck fan - THE absolute best invention since penicillin!in I couldn’t survive summers without this neck fan. I own 4 and give them as gifts…you would think I own stock in this company! It’s very quiet and does not even register on an EMF reader. People think I am wearing headphones.

Works Niecely but Noisy at Highest Setting
These neck fans work well but at the highest setting, they are quite noisy. This is not a problem for outdoor use as long as nobody tries to speak to you or you are not listening for public address system announcements. They are comfortable to wear and I plan to wear them while photographing the Costa Rica canals in a few weeks. I recommend.

Perfect for Summer Music Fests
Bought for my husband, BIL and SIL for the summer jazz fest which can get hot and humid in the DMV. These were a perfect addition! We questioned why we hadn't purchased sooner!

Great product, less so if you have long hair.
Great product, helped relieve some of this summer heat. Unfortunately, I learned that the device can easily snag and get caught on longer strands of hair. Now one of the fans randomly whines loudly and eventually stops, possibly due to hair getting stuck inside. Will have to look up how to open up this device to get access to the blades and possibly clean them out. The design possibly could have been better to avoid this. Maybe something like a mesh around the opening where the blades are, rather than the open grate style it currently uses.

I have bought these for hot flashes and it has really helped.

bulky
Distributes air at the existing temperature. Not worth hanging around your neck
