They don't spin for very long, but that's to be expected as they're not meant to do so (a chain doesn't need to keep spinning, unlike a wheel, for example). They are very low friction for their purpose, however, and look great. They were larger than my old pulleys, but the tooth count is the same and they work great! The machining finish wasn't the best, but it doesn't bother me. The gold is wearing off already, after around 20 miles, but that's to be expected. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hardly noticeable, but stronger *by M***M on May 12, 2017* I bought an Orange bike and wanted to add color pop here and there, so I spent days looking for Blue grips, saddles, rails, bells, and on and on. When I first saw these, I didn't know where they belonged on a bike! lolAt the bike shop, I showed the picture to the tech to make sure they're the same size as what my bike needs. The guy said these should be even better, since mine came with plastic ones, while these are metal and should last longer.My bike had Shimano breaks; These will fit most Shimano derailleurs.If you're going to get them, might as well get the blue bike chain! Once installed, they're hardly noticeable, as they're small and practically hidden. I notice them because they're mine, but I doubt others will. The one benefit is that they're stronger than the plastic ones that came with the bike. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy cheap upgrade *by W***D on September 27, 2016* Product was delivered very quickly. I would have liked some direction about lubrication and installation, but that's not a deal breaker for me. Bottom line is that they spin much more freely than the stock pulleys on my 105, the drive train feels smoother and sounds quieter. Example... when I have my bike on a rack for service and I manually spin the crank, it keeps on spinning after I stop pushing them for a rotation or two. It didn't do that before adding the pulleys, a half rotation at most. I also replaced the chain at the same time, which I would highly recommend.
