I purchased this as part of a complete haircare overhaul after discovering Abby Yung and her haircare method. I have fine/thin hair, so I’m always hesitant to use leave-in treatments because I don’t want to sacrifice volume or end up with hair that feels coated or weighed down. This caught my attention because it’s designed to be a lightweight, leave-in repair treatment, and it was also recommended within the fine/thin hair routines I was researching. I’ve been trying to be more intentional about preventing and addressing damage while keeping my routine manageable, so this seemed like a good addition. The mist makes it really easy to distribute through my hair without accidentally applying too much product in one spot. I like that I can use it as a quick step after washing without having to add another treatment to my shower routine. It leaves my hair feeling softer, smoother, and more manageable without that heavy, coated feeling that some repair products can create. I’m especially interested in the strengthening and damage-repair benefits as I continue using it consistently. One thing that genuinely surprised me, although it obviously has nothing to do with the product’s effectiveness, is the packaging. The bottle feels much more high-end than what I typically expect from a Pantene product. It has a really polished, almost luxury-haircare feel. The scent adds to that experience too. It smells much more like a salon-quality hair product than a typical drugstore leave-in. Overall, I’m really enjoying having this in my new routine. It gives me a way to incorporate some repair and strengthening care without making my fine hair feel weighed down, and the lightweight formula makes it easy to use consistently. If you have fine or thin hair and tend to avoid leave-in treatments because you’re worried they’ll leave your hair heavy or greasy, this is definitely one I’d consider trying.

i’m obsessed with this stuff. just what i was looking for - it makes my hair feel smooth and strong instantly! some days my hair feels so brittle and thin (age maybe ? thanks 30’s) that i feel like i can’t even brush it without causing breakage. pantene to the rescue! i use this on dry hair btw and it works wonderfully. it also smells really great and i prob wouldn’t use it if it didn’t , scent is a huge deal to me - Im impressed w pantene. i haven't used them in like 15 years - thank you to Abbey Young for the suggestion ❤️

I absolutely loved the scent of the Pantene Pro-Vitamin Essence Daily Repair Mist. It has a soft coconut fragrance that smells much more expensive than I expected. The mist is lightweight, easy to apply, and left my hair feeling noticeably softer without weighing it down or making it greasy. It helped smooth my hair and added a healthy-looking shine. If you enjoy tropical, salon-like scents and want a quick boost of softness between washes, this is definitely worth trying.

Works well but scent is a bit strong Review: I like the texture and how soft it makes my hair, but the scent is pretty strong and lingers longer than I expected. If you’re sensitive to fragrance, keep that in mind.

Scent: Like what many of the other reviews indicated, this has a nice warm coconut smell when you first spritz it onto your hair but I personally don't get much floral notes. After a few hours, I notice a pleasant/light musky scent (maybe this is the sandalwood) with very little coconut in the background. Maybe this product smells differently on others, depending on your skin chemistry. I have no complaints on the smell itself. I usually apply this to damp towel dried hair in the evening and I can still smell the product on myself the next day, so it seems the scent does have some lasting power. Treatment: I didn't notice a huge difference in my hair after using it a few weeks. The mist itself is light and didn't weigh down my hair but I'm questioning if this really does have an impact on my hair health. Misc: It comes in a medium sized glass bottle with a wide plastic cap. Overall, it is a nice product to have but not a must. I find myself using this as more of a hair perfume with hair treatment properties.

OBSESSED. I'm on my 3rd bottle and I love the way it leaves my hair so moisturized, shiny, and not greasy, with an amazing smell. Noticeable difference when I dont use it. Wish it was more affordable for the size of the bottle, but it's worth the investment for how soft my hair is and long-lasting smell.

This stuff is horrible. Period. After using it ONE time exactly as the directions say, I knew IMMEDIATELY it was not going to be used long term, if at all. It made my thick, somewhat coarse and wavy hair so gummy, greasy and gross, I wanted to wash it out but didn't have time. I was embarrassed at how greasy my hair looked. I don't get the 4 and 5 star reviews, I really don't. According to the directions, I also think you can really only use this as the directions state if you wash your hair everyday, which I do not and will not do. It states to apply it to clean damp hair before any other leave in----which to me means you need to then wash that leave in out of your hair the next day in order to apply this again. I cannot imagine piling this stuff on my hair daily. I will give it one more try today after shampooing to see if maybe I used too much, but the directions say to apply generously and it's promoted as being light weight. As for the price for what you get and the packaging: ridiculous. This could have been put in a plastic bottle with no extra fancy box packaging and been half the price. And lots of reviews keep mentioning the awesome smell.....where is it? All I smell is the faint smell of what every Pantene Miracle Rescue product smells like. Which I do not like that particular smell, it has an almond smell to me which I hate. There is nothing coconut or tropical about this product. Update: After spending $20 on this, I wanted to at least give it the 14 days of continuous use it says will give you results. So here's my take: I still will not buy it again. I stand by my 1 star review for no other reason than this cannot possibly even come close to giving you soft, healthier looking hair unless you are washing your hair everyday-----which we all know is not only not necessary, but can actually be detrimental to some hair-----it makes my scalp so dry and itchy if I wash daily and my hair does not need it.. With daily use of this plus a very lightweight leave in I have used for years, this leaves my hair so weighed down and greasy. Yes, on wash day I do like the way my hair feels after using this. But for the next 2-3 days until I shampoo again, my hair feels gross. I also continue to hate the way this smells. I again tell you, it does not smell like coconut or anything tropical. If you've used their Miracle Rescue conditioners, that is what this smells like.

I was SO excited to see this go on sale and try it out. My hair length goes to my bra strap, texture is mixed with my grey being wirey/frizzy and the rest being fine, straight and tangles easily. Pantene directions are 5-10 sprays on damp hair before leave-in conditioning/heat spray. Pantene also says it can be used on dry hair. Of note, I use the Pantene 10-in-1 for my leave-in conditioning heat protectant. OK, tried it on dry hair as soon as I got it. It felt not great with this application method. I wonder if people saying it felt sticky or left a residue were applying it to dry hair. I would only do it this way again if I was applying before bed with plans to wash in the morning. I used it this morning on freshly washed, damp hair. I started with the max amount of 10 sprays knowing that it could be too much. I distributed both to my roots and lengths, as directed. Next, I applied my normal heat protectant in the same amount I normally use and only to my lengths. I blow dried my hair like normal. The results???? Roots and the top portion of my hair looked great. My lengths were weighed down and greasy looking in some places. So this Essence product is lightweight as claimed based on my roots. I need to figure out the right amount to use on my lengths knowing I use a second product there. I feel confident that the quantity of both products was too much for my hair type and reducing the quantity of sprays will be great. My hair is soft, not sticky at all, so the residue issue doesnt appear to be a problem when applied to damp hair thats blown dry. The scent is the classic Pantene scent. Not sure why they hype this up with the perfume mentions. It's literally just the normal Pantene shampoo scent which I happen to like. I would definitely buy again

Well , the marketing Ith the bloggers was done good, other than that the product is not of a good quality, makes hair dry like a straw
