You will love the tone of this steel tongue drum! It is calming like falling rain. It does not have that tangy tone of small wind chimes. It is easy to play once you label it as the instructions suggest. In the past I purchased a 12 inch drum which has a deep round tone to help relieve stress and to relax after long days when your mind won't quite working. I purchased this to help energize, motivate and center my friend. It opened up a creative side of him and allowed him to explore his feelings through music and I am amazed by the happiness it provides. It is transportable so it can be taken to a park, beach, school etc. When others hear it they are drawn to it, so those with social issues who feel they aren't heard, find people willing to listen and their self made music gives smiles and encouragement. I feel this was the best value. It is fun to play, comes with instructions and the sound is amazing. I find it a perfect gift.

I got the 12 inch in the color stone green. This drum is so beautiful! I got it for my husband for his birthday. He's a musical genius and I know he will have a blast with this thing. It sounds beautiful, comes with a carrying case with an adjustable strap for protection, comes with a music book for learning different songs, and two sets of drum sticks. One longer, one shorter. Plays well. I think it's worth the price ($45) and seems very good quality and durable.

IT IS A BEAUTIFUL METAL, HOLLOW ON THE INSIDE TO DRY... MAKES BEAUTIFUL MUSIC, COMES WITH THE "BANGERS" SHOWN AND A BOOK... SUPPOSEDLY RAIN CAN HELP IT PLAY MUSIC TOO BUT HAVEN'T TRIED THAT YET...

Love this drum especially for the price to play and learn on. Only thing I do not like is the numbers that are stickers, they come with extra set but they don't stay on at all. Easy fix for this price. Its super sturdy and the sounds are beautiful. Comes with everything you need. The original one I looked at was $700, so happy I found a good one on here. Got it for Christmas and still banging on it for Easter.

Drum was as pictured. I didn’t like the numbers stuck on with tape. They won’t last. (Which is why they give you a second set of numbers), also I personally didn’t care for the sound.

Lovely drum with a velvety bag, songbook and drumsticks. The sound is delightful BUT only when played with the drumsticks. No audible sound during rain, even a heavy one.

Very nice, cute, sounds great and perfect for the novice who just wants to entertain themselves for a while! Well made.

Un son limpide, clair et bien raisonnant. Le tambour à langue est vraiment cossu, la finition est parfaite et la couleur jolie (vert foncé). Je l’ai offert et cela a fait son effet, la personne était vraiment ravi de ce cadeau. Il est livré avec 2 jeux de baguettes, des doigtiers, et un livret d’apprentissage. Je recommande cet instrument sans hésiter.
