CozyCoverz Outdoor Rainproof & Windproof Stadium Blanket/Picnic Blanket 50" x 60"

I really researched outdoor blankets before purchasing this so I feel I've done ALL the homework for you. I didn't want a flashy blanket like the ones sold at department stores. I was looking for a solid-color blanket that would be classy and not embarrassing to display in public. (Also important was the idea I might use it to wrap myself at a cold outdoor event -- I didn't want big polka-dots or silly stripes.) There were a few reviews that criticized this blanket so I was a tiny bit skeptical when I purchased it (even though MANY seemed to love it.) Well, fear not. THIS IS A PERFECT OUTDOOR BLANKET. Really, it is! There are several things that make me so glad I purchased this particular one instead of all the others: (1) I love the two different sides. One side is nylon which makes it great for laying on grass or dirt. I hate when using a blanket at an outdoor event and then when you lift the blanket, so much is stuck to it, making for a huge mess at home. With the nylon side of the blanket, there is ZERO mess. The other side of the blanket is even better because of the fleece -- perfect for keeping warm at a chilly nighttime sporting event or Opera in the Park. (2) This blanket is so easy to fold and transport. Someone mentioned it's "a little tricky to fold up when done." Having used it several times already, all I can think of is "Do you not know how to fold a blanket?" This could not be easier, folks! You do not need a degree to fold this and return to it's original position -- allowing you to carry it using built-in handles. A velcro closure helps keep it folded. That's right, no need for a separate bag or carrying case. The handle is built INTO the blanket making for a much easier transport and no chance of lost bags. When folded, this blanket is the size of a standard cereal box. Unfolded, the size is perfect for two people laying down or up to four people sitting up. At a recent outdoor concert, the group next to us was so impressed, they asked where we purchased it. (It was clear, they were in desperate need of a new blanket -- one that did't collect leaves and dead grass.) Anyone that rates this product less than 5 stars is simply fussy and probably complains about everything. (You know those kind of people.)I just bought a second one in the charcoal color -- I figure I can use one to lay on and another to wrap-up in! Love it!

These stadium blankets are fantastic! We ordered quite a few of them to monogram with heat transfer vinyl as end of year teacher appreciation gifts. Everyone loved them! ESA also went well above and beyond the call of duty with regard to customer service when there was a shipping issue with regard to the blankets arriving in time to be personalized. They saved this project from being a complete catastrophe - I would without a doubt, absolutely order from them again!!!

I have had a similar style blanket from a parent's work event years ago. It is nylon on one side and a soft fleece on the other. I always have it folded up and in the trunk of my car. Let me tell you the ways it's come in handy over the years. I've used it nylon side down/fleece side up before when I've had to change a tire on the side of the road- this kept my clothes dry and clean and the blanket offered protection from picking up too much crud from the road with the nylon. In cold winter months I've used it as an extra blanket to keep my passengers warm. I've laid it down fleece side down/nylon up in the back seat for my friends dog to lay on while he was in the care. I have also recently been bringing it out onto the fishing boat to keep warm in the wind- nylon up helps cut the wind to keep the fleece warmth in. I've also found great success in using this for picnics, and outdoor sporting events. So I bought 2 more! One specifically to keep in the boat and one specifically for my partner's truck so that when we go out I know we have one there too. You should absolutely buy one of these- it's fantastic to have.

Too light to stay put. Too slippery to walk on(think kids). The fact that the waterproof layer is not attached to the blanket layer is super annoying. Would not recommend.

Materials and quality of construction are excellent. Light, portable and easy to carry to the ballgame with the handles. However, our lawn seats were on a slope to facilitate viewing, since the blanket layer was not attached by any cross stitching to the waterproof layer the blanket slid over the bottom layer bunching up and sliding down the slope. If we had been on a flat surface this wouldn't have been a problem.

I am a bit disappointed in the quality- it's on the cheaper side of quality. If you can find another brand- please do so. It's also very loud when you are moving the blanket.

I took it with me to put on the floor of hunting blind but due to unusually cold spell ended up wrapping myself in this blanket. The black and camo colors work great in hunting situations so I don't have to worry about some bright materials showing through the hunting blind windows. I doesn't seem to absorb water and some dirt brushed off easily. Light enough to tie to backpack for a hike out to the hunting blind.

My husband and I were tired of sitting on the grass during concerts, so we decided to try this blanket. The grass was wet at the show we took it took, and we didn't feel a thing. My only complaints are that it is a little slippery when sitting down and standing up, and it also was a little smaller than I expected.Overall, a great investment and we will use it for more concerts.
