Hi,will this fit a samsung rs21 dcsv?

When you remove the white internal panels at the back of the fridge section (search You Tube replacing heat sensor) you will reveal these components. The element is held in a mesh and it looks different to the one on the left. This is because this is just the front piece (the bit you can replace). You will need to clip any cable ties and (with a pair of ling nose pliers) bend the mesh around the pipes of the element. Once done, you can remove the element and replace it, along with the 2 senosrs included in the pack. Re-bend the mesh around the element and cable tie the sensors. Most of this can be seen on You Tube but i would suggest taking pictures on your camera to reference teh sequence of how to put everything back.

Probably yes, but check with manufacturers.

Will this fit rs21wasm?

Hello, my fridge is an RS21 with a different end to the code. I think these are the same and the end describes the finish / colour. When i searched for the correct element this one came up for RS21 models. If you Google 'defrost sensor' using your model number it should come up with the correct part, which i think this one is. Hope this helps.

Worked a treat!

Water dispenser stopped working a few weeks ago then the whole unit died and kept tripping the circuit. Had an engineer out to try fix it, he located the problem as being the defrost element and told me it would cost hundreds to repair. Found the part for under £25 from Barty Spares and fitted it myself in around an hour (fiddly getting the old one out). After resetting the temperature display the whole unit is back in full working order :) Thanks to Barty Spares for getting the part out to me quicker than expected.

Well worth the effort...

My 11 year old Samsung fridge freezer started to frost up and water dispenser stopped. The appliance is perfect so wasn’t keen to send it to the graveyard just yet. After some googling I came across this kit and a ‘how to’ video on YouTube... my fridge freezer is operating perfectly once again. Well worth purchasing and just take your time when replacing old parts... not as difficult as first seemed!
