Does not push and continue moving well at all.

Buyer beware, This train doesn’t actually move!

My son is a train enthusiast and when he discovered this toy, he was incredibly happy to add it to his train collection. This train even entertained him for even longer than I expected -- and even when I thought the novelty of this toy was gone, he still play with this train every now and then.I have to get this out of the way: The sound of this is LOUD and can get very annoying. I have refrained him from playing with this toy at night so my husband and I can get some peace and quiet and to prepare all of us for bed time. He got upset at it, but that's the only restriction my husband and I had to play with this toy.Other than that, this train has brought my son a lot of joy and has even been through several rough handling and it's still as good as when he first received it. The battery we put in it is also in there and is still going strong.

This is a very cool toy train for any train lover. Especially love it because it's the Bullet Train and those are hard to find replica toys for, as opposed to the more common steam or diesel train engines. It has lights and sounds, but the sounds are very loud. We have a marble hallway and it echoes the noise much more than a carpeted room would, but it doesn't run on carpeting so just be aware it is noisy. The style is very realistic and the kids love to play with it. It seems well made for a plastic toy, I hope it is durable and holds up for awhile. It's great for their imaginations to build a train track for it to run on (even coloring tracks on paper and taping them to the floor). Great fun for kids, would recommend!

Do not buy, only reason it's one star is because it's not letting put anything lower.I got this as a grad gift for a friend who loves trains. When it arrives it was clearly used and messed with. There is even a hair inside if the box!!! Scuffs on the train its self.

Overall this is a fun toy for our grandson, hence the 5 stars.As the Grandpa, I wish it would be the kind that you draw back towards you to wind up the flywheel and then let go for it to move forward.That is not how this bullet train works.This simply has a flywheel. So when you push it forward, the flywheel keeps it going a bit longer.We did not have batteries to install so were not able to check out the lights or sound.The paint and graphics are very realistic looking.This is an inexpensive push toy for small toddlers.

Sound stopped working in less than half an hour play - my grandson was very disappointed.
