These are very soft material; there was no shrinkage after washing. The neutral colors make them a nice gift for boy or girl. I still have a Gerber one from our son. That was 38 years ago so I expect these to wear as well. I actually purchased it as a lightweight lap blanket for myself and it is the perfect size. I've also used these for our granddaughter's baby dolls and for our tiny schnauzer. Highly recommend!

only SLIGHTLY more expensive than the muslin bs sets they're pushing with a lot more durability and absorption while still being breathable. the material my mother wrapped me in. the stars are super cute and go well with a lot of other baby things we have been purchasing.

These blankets are such cute prints. The size is a little smaller than I would like and the quality is a bit flimsy but for that price you can't buy that much flannel in a fabric shop. The edging is just done with a Serger. The prints work perfectly to sew two of them together to make double sided receiving blankets so I might do that.
