Stout Rod with Nice Action
At the time of this review this is selling for just under $90 which I feel is about right for what this is. This definitely has some backbone to it and has just enough action to get my lures out into the spots I want to. So far it's been doing well. I haven't caught anything over 4 lbs with it yet, but it's been solid and feels good in my hands. I like this Rod and do recommend it.

An attractive functional rod with many different options on action. The rod I selected looks nice and more importantly works well with my desired action. The clamps for the reel are easy to operate and hold well. Eyelets are sturdy adn secure.

If your in the market for a heavy action rod at a reasonable price, I reccommend The KastKing Royale Legend Pro. I got the Heavy Cover 7'10" fast rod as a frog, and crank bait rod. This is beautiful rod with its color shift Blue/Purple color over the High Modulus KastFlex IM7 graphite blank. It has 13 Fuji Stainless Steel K Frame Guides with FazLite Inserts that are small and allow the line to smoothly cast and retrieve. The reel seat feel kind of cheap to me. It doesn't loosen off letting the reel come loose. It has a molded in hook keeper on the front side of the reel seat, and two finger triggers under the reel. The silicone rod grips with SlipLock technology are soft and don't get "slimy". The rod stays put in your hand. This is a nice rod, but it's heavy. It is about 2oz. heavier than my St. Croix BASS-X heavy 7'4" to compare it to. 2oz. doesn't seem like much till you cast it 5 - 8 hours. On that note it is about half the cost.
