A very nice Gaming Chair
I ordered this chair for my son's 12th birthday. I didn't really know what to get him, so I thought I'd upgrade his gaming area a little. I went for this chair because it had much better reviews than some of the slightly cheaper chairs, whilst still being reasonably affordable. I also liked that it had the Empire Gaming logo on the head rest - it's clearly a gaming chair and not just a fancy office chair. I went with the contrast black and white model. It looks really nice. It's well padded - including the arm rests - in a sort of smooth artificial leather material. Underneath there's an arm to raise or lower the chair. You can also let the chair tilt backwards slightly or lock it in the standard position. I'm over 6 foot and 14 stone and it's a good sized and comfortable chair - although I bought it for my son, it's definitely a full sized adult chair. It should last my son well over the next few years. He was really pleased with it. I keep catching him sat in it and smiling, even when he's not playing games. I think he feels like some sort of Twitch streamer now! It arrived in perfect condition in a large and heavy box with the Empire Gaming logo on the side. It was easy enough to put together with everything supplied (including spares and an allen key). I put the base on the wrong way to begin with so that the chair tilted forwards rather than back, but it was easy enough to fix once I realised my mistake.

What a chair!
I don't often write reviews but I felt that this chair deserves one. It took 10 minutes to assemble, every screw hole lined up exactly and they even supplied some spare bolts. My old gaming chair was getting tired and frayed (something to do with my pesky cat) and although it was approximately the same price this chair is of much better construction. Would recommend to anyone who spends time in front of their PC.

Excellent quality and outstanding customer service.
There are a number of chairs from other shops about £20 cheaper, I made the mistake of buying one before sending it back and buying from Empire gaming. This gaming chair is exceptional, only took about 15 mins to put together, instructions are clear, tools are good quality and there's even spares. The quality is excellent and my son couldn't be happier, way better than my previous purchase. The company have followed up with a couple of emails, if you do have any issues. Do yourself a favour and spend the minimal extra cash, well worth it.

The Force Awakens
Update number2. The vendor kindly sent out a pneumatic gas lift which lasted for a while however the chair bit the dust this morning. You just can’t risk leaning back when you weigh 17 stone. This chair effectively has a shelf life of 18 months which is okay for the build quality. Alas my back doesn’t!

Good chair
Brought this simply because I needed Thick padded arms due to elbow problems. I am not a geek or gamer (I am over 60). Easy to assemble and I had the good sense not to tighten the screws for the arms so I could align the seat and back to get the screws in. Seems to be well made, but it tips forward which will take a little getting used to, but means I rest on my forearms and not my elbows, which is good, but the padding on the arms is not very thick or well padded which makes them feel hard to me, so the reason for just 4 stars.

Very nice, but doesn't recline.
Overall I love this chair. It was pretty easy to put together, but the wheels we're slightly stiff and I struggled a little with attaching the back of the chair to the arm rests. The chair doesn't lean back at all, it only leans forwards as you go to get up, so it always leans slightly forward but after a a couple days use I got used to it. If you are after a reclining chair, this isn't the one for you, but as far as I can tell it is high quality and was worth the money. It is very comfortable, and would be 5 stars apart from the fact you can't make it lean back anymore!

Fantastic chair!
Easy to assemble, very comfortable! The only downside I can think of, is that the chair locks into place but gives slightly, you can still rock back a couple of centimetres when it should be staying completely still. It’s also rather noisy, I’m assuming once the fabric has been worn into this will stop.Overall, I think the chair is fantastic. Would buy another
