SANLIKE Telescopic Fishing Gaff Aluminum Pole Stainless Steel Spear Hook

We have already used this gaff several times on our boat. We have only used it for sharks, about 30-40 pound size, to control while fishing with children. The hook is nice and sharp and goes through the tough shark skin without difficulty. Im surprised by how strong it is when fully extended. It flexes a little, but does not seem to get close to breaking. We have already landed three sharks with it and hopefully will continue many years! No issues with rusting or wear from the salt water so far. Highly recommend for the casual fisherman wanting to control large fish.

The hook twists so you have to be careful not to twist it around too much or it might just come off. You have to make sure it’s tight after every use. The reach is great! Really long and the hook is very heavy duty! It can hold a lot of weight! I lost the little protective cap for the hook end so I just have to be very careful where I store it .. super sharp!

Nice , Lightweight was able to stick in the equipment bag.

This gaff works really well and makes it easy to bring fish out of the water. It feels sturdy, has a comfortable grip, and does exactly what it’s supposed to. I fish in saltwater here in Florida, and it’s been very helpful on my trips. The only downside is that it rusts pretty quickly in saltwater, even with rinsing. It’s still a solid tool, just needs better rust resistance. If you’re willing to maintain it and keep it clean, it’s a great buy.

After getting a bigger boat, decided that I needed a gaff for bigger species (Mahi, Tuna, Striped Bass). First, the quality is amazing. The handle is ridged and provides a firm grip. I couldn’t believe how light this things was. What’s great is that you are able to extend this gaff, which make it safe to use on the rough days. Second is the price, this is a steal at the current price. If you’re in the market for a new gaff, check this one out. Very happy and impressed!

Telescopic is GREAT feature. I pulled a 12 pounder up onshore without a net

I haven’t used it for fish yet but it works great for pulling the back branches of my hedges closer to me for trimming when I’m on a ladder.

Tried it out a few days ago and it pulled 28lb dolphin out no problem. I am concerned with the handle durability over time but for the price, it does what I need it to do.

Love it great for ice fishing
