Solid Replacement Remote for TCL Roku Smart TVs
The remote for my TCL 55R625 stopped syncing to the TV after a factory reset. Official TCL support wants you to buy a $35 replacement remote from their official supply partner. No thanks. This worked great out of the box. Just have to pop in the batteries (not included). Note that it doesn't have the microphone like the official remote. Also, the remote itself and the buttons do feel a little cheaper than the official version. However, it's about a fourth of the price of the official version and it more than does the job.

As expected. But it takes different batteries than our old remote, so be sure to check what batteries you’ll need.
