Great cup of tea
Great bold fresh taste, one of my favorites. Good value and quality.

great tea
Great tea. Strong. Flavorful. My one complaint, and they are not the only tea company that does this so maybe it is an industry standard, but they grind the heck out of the leaves until they are almost a powder and some of the tea leaves pass through the infuser and get into the tea. Not a big deal, I can use a paper coffee filter or an empty reusable tea bag or throw out the bottom cup of tea in the pot because the tea leaves sink to the bottom. I once tried a tea that was a lot worse. Literally ground to powder. Like talcum powder. Half the tea leaves passed through the infuser. Still, I recommend it and I would buy it again.

Love this Tea!
I love this tea! Only complaint is that the leaves are very finely chopped so I get a lot of bits that go through my teapot’s infuser. Other than that it’s high quality, strong, and delicious.

Very good tea
This tea is very good. I use an infuser to make a cup at a time. I have been drinking Barry's Gold tea, but it seems to be getting a little pricey in the US. I decided to try this Yorkshire Gold tea and for me it seems to have a little more delicate flavor compared to the Barry's. But I really like the flavor of this tea. I may never want to switch back to Barry's.

Nice quality tea.
I love English breakfast tea and Yorkshire Gold did not disappoint. It's a Taylors product which is a very good company that makes high quality teas. It was very tasty. Price was very fair as well.

I knew it was too good to be true
This household goes through a lot of loose leaf tea, almost exclusively of the Taylor's of Harrogate brand. Yes we have and continue to experiment or sample other brands and types of teas, but the Taylor's of Harrogate line has been our primary domain., So, for instance right now, after having dug them out from the pantry, am staring at cans for Afternoon Darjeeling (yes), Tea Room Blend (not my taste), Assam Estate Leaf Tea (yes, yes), Scottish Breakfast (not really) and English (our standby, of late) and, for the first time in donkey's years, the Earl Gray (surprisingly enjoyable). Amazon served this tea up to me as a purchase suggestion which puzzled me because I haven't ever bought it and I don't buy the journeyman teas the likes of lipton's and others of that ilk. I bought it though. Mostly on price and my surprise that it is a Taylor's of Harrogate product it made me think that even at such a cheap price it could be a good cup of tea. It is not, frankly. At least not to my taste. The bag that came looked a little the worse for wear which may help to explain the bad bit which is that the tea itself is an unprepossessing mass of little crumbs and balls of the crushed leaf. It looks almost dusty, which means that a bit of it escapes into the cup or pot one brews it in. Sipping dregs is not an enjoyable cup of tea. The flavor is a bit woody or muddled and I don't care for it. This is an early impression so it is possible the flavor will grow on me, but I don't think so. While the tea does have a floral note when smelled dry it has a sharp aftertaste that hints at the woody aftertaste of the brewed leaf. If you are looking for a tea with relatively high caffeine content, this one will do, as I definitely sense a charge of energy after drinking a cup. Based on this experience I would steer you away from this product and toward Taylor's of Harrogates other loose leaf teas. In the greater scheme of things their greater monetary cost is insignificant in the face of the far superior flavor these other teas yield. The named estate teas are a special treat.
