Review: light weight and easy to transport - when at the beach we like to walk the beach and look for interresting rocks, shells and what ever else we find, but since we are getting older get tired of bending over to pick them up. ordered these for our recent trip and was very pleased with them. They telescope in for easy transporting and out for easy use. they are light weight which makes them easy to carry while walking along the beach. they are not heavy duty and wouldn't stand up well for digging in the sand but for scooping up shells and small rocks from the beach they work really well and had no problem with them at all. I much prefer the scoop shape over the round shape that others have. For the price I don't think you could do better.
Review: Horrible product, not made well. - I live in a beach town, so I Purchased this item for my grandchildren in April before the season. Gave it to them this past weekend. Didn't even get to use it once and it broke as they put is into the sand!! Now desertcart refuses to refund my money.

My kids love shelling with these and me too! Only suggestion is the basket will come apart with a lot of digging, so make sure they are easy on the scooping part. Otherwise functions amazing and is easy to use. Lightweight and travels well.
