Finish Line Fiber Grip Carbon Fiber Bike Assembly Gel 1.75 oz

Rescued me! I had a stubborn seat post rail on my Cervelo S3 that just kept on slipping. This gel really helped me to solidify the connection and avoid any slippages on my long rides. Lifesaver!

My peloton seat kept sliding down no matter how tight I made it. Used this and it stopped. No more movement. I’m so greatful it was very frustrating especially when I’m a little taller.

I store it hanging by the tag with the opening at the bottom. It liquifies a bit when you open the cap (meaning liquid separates from the gel stuff). I don’t know if this is normal or if you’re supposed to squish and mix it before using, but seems good and grippy.

Just needed a couple of drops for my carbon front derailleur, but had to but a lifetime supply. It worked great!

Worked really well. I could definitely tell a difference in ability to slip in carbon fiber connection points. Doesn't totally eliminate slippage, but significantly reduces it. It doesn't take much either, a little goes a long way.

I've got a 2022 Trek Domane with a carbon seatpost. I tried tape, I tried basic grit/grease stuff, nothing worked. The basic grit/grease stuff would hold for a little bit, but never felt solid and indeed would, after a few short rides, allow the seat post to slip again. I had a century coming up with a lot of big climbs and needed the seat to stay put. The description of the fiber grip looked good, and so I tried it and love it. I think it's fantastic. During the century, the seatpost never gave any sign of slipping at all. I will add that, in addition to the fiber grip, I added some blue thread locker to the bolt to help prevent it from vibrating back out. Very happy with the solution. Fiber Grip for the win for sure!

This was recommended for use on a carbon fibre cello spike to prevent it sligging back in whilst playing! This has the required effect but I would use with a word of caution for cellists- be very careful how you handle it AS I ACCIDENTALLY TOUCHED MY BOW HAIR AFTERWARDS and it sileneced that bit which I have remedied with a little methylated spirit. Obviously not the fault of the product.
