NeoCell Super Collagen Type I & III + Vitamin C - 360 Tablets

I suppose I should start by saying, I never review anything but I will read hundreds of reviews before buying a product. With that said, I figured I should, at the very least, begin to review products that I repurchase because that means they're working! Originally I purchased Neocell Super Collagen Type I & III plus Vitamin C because I wanted to help support my joints when exercising. In that respect it has fulfilled its promise. I have felt relief from minor joint aches (for me it's my knees and ankles) in approximately 2 to 3 weeks time. That was all I was looking to accomplish but I have noticed some other benefits as well such as; smooth nails, firmer skin, and overall better hydration. To hit a bit more on these added benefits, my nails have a slight ripple in them but as soon as I take this supplement they smooth out completely. My skin seems firmer, I feel it's because this supplement helps with hydration. Dehydration has always been an issue for me which directly affects the health of your skin but overall, with the help of Neocell Super Collagen (and water!), I am hydrated. I can also attest to the fact that I am 100% positive that it is Neocell Super Collagen Type I & III plus Vitamin C that has caused these positive changes because I started the supplement in October 2012 and by March 2013 I decided that I wanted to try a different Neocell collagen product. I bought the Neocell Fish Collagen plus HA (hyaluronic acid) and up until 2 weeks ago (last week of June 2013), I was taking the fish collagen instead of the super collagen based SOLELY on the fact that I didn't like the idea of the super collagen being derived from bovine collagen. My only logical reasoning for the switch is that I stay away from red meat, so why would I take a supplement that is coming from a bovine source? Well, let me tell you the fish collagen is inferior to the super collagen. So much so that I had a week where my ankles hurt so bad that I could not exercise. I don't believe I can think of any benefit that I experienced using the fish collagen, so I am back to taking the super collagen and it has only been 2 1/2 weeks and already I feel the difference. I will not stray again. Also, just for reference purposes, I am a 29 year old woman, with no major health issues. I exercise about 4-5 times a week (high intensity, 20-30 minute routines). I was taking other supplements such as fish oil (for overall health), zinc (immunity), and a probiotic. I now take my super collagen twice a day and a probiotic before bed. Also, I only take 2 tablets of super collagen two times a day compared to the recommended 3 tablets two times a day. I am a small individual at 5'1" and 105 lbs, so I usually take about 1/2 of whatever medications/supplements suggest. Even at this smaller dose, I still see the benefits from the super collagen.

Last year, about this time, I noticed a little cross-hatching on my cheeks, which was pretty awful. Combined with my increasingly jowly jaw and the lines etched into my forehead and between my eyes I was growing .... unlovely. I got a minimal amount of botox for the forehead and between brow business (just enough to soften not freeze) but did not succumb to the doc's suggestion to needle my cheeks. Besides the looks stuff, I've also gotten arthritic, groaning as I get off the sofa...that sort of thing. My what a wreck. So I was wasting time on the internet one day last January and came across something about this collagen stuff and read a few positive reviews and figured, It's cheap. What could it hurt? And ordered the powder and a few days later found the pills at Costco. I did the powder until it (thankfully) ran out. While it doesn't taste exactly bad, it has...an unappealing feel within the mouth. Gagable. So I started the pills. Don't know if there's a difference between the two but the compliments I get on my skin (even as a life-long but semi-stopped-smoker)are astonishing, unsolicited, and frequent. The cross-hatching is entirely gone. The forehead and brow-betweens are about as they were with botox -- they're there but so soft it's not an issue. My jaw-line is tighter -- everything is lifted and brighter. This is nuts -- I also have more energy than I've had in years, my arthritis is -- not gone -- but relieved. And most interesting, my chronic low-level depression??? Where did that go? No effect on weight, too bad. I need to mention that muddying this rave somewhat is that about 3 weeks into taking the collagen I bumped into one of those Lancome gifties and got a sample of their Genifique serum. So I don't know how much of the skin improvement is one or the other or if it's both together. I'm almost out of the $75 Lancome stuff so I might see how it goes without...and update this in another month or so.

I read the reviews and ordered this mainly for a strained tendon that has been bothering me in my upper hamstring, making it painful to go up and down stairs,squat down, bend over. I had tried PT for 8 weeks, and this was bothering me since December 2011, about 6 months when I got this product. It was an injury I also had 1 year ago in the same spot, that I guess never got fully well. Well, I can tell you after taking the max dose of 12 per day divided into two doses on an empty stomach for about 1 month, my tendonitis was almost completely gone. I ordered a second bottle, and I can say that I am about 1/2 way through the second bottle and I have ZERO pain in my strained tendon in my hamstring. YAY! I also had some elbow tendonitis that was bothering me for about 2 years, and that is completely gone! I also had a split fingernail (lengthwise) that just would not heal which I have had for about 1.5 years. It is now healed and no longer split. Although that was a small thing and didn't hurt, it was a daily annoyance when my nail which would catch on any fabric on a daily basis and would never grow out. I love this product. It doesn't mask the pain like a pain reliever but really helps the tissue heal. Order it !! You won't be sorry. Take on an empty stomach per instructions. I take it in the morning before my coffee and set my phone timer as a reminder to take it a second time in the afternoon.

Well 😊like MOST REVIEWS have said this is a Nice Collagen product for your hair, skin,and joints.. the biggest improvement noticed was with my skin.. I noticed it was less dry... and just felt better... along with a little bit of an improvement with my hair health.. ALSO it was VERY noticeable when I stopped it and tried a different product that was inferior.. I could just feel the difference which I never used to believe until what just happened😉.. With that if you can afford it it's worth it imo.. trying to save a few dollars didn't work out.. Thanks for reading...

This is a great product. I'm only taking a half dose, but my nails are longer and stronger, and my hair is growing fast and is shinier. But the best thing is the effect on my skin! My skin is softer and more supple all over, even elbows and knees. My skin feels like it did 20 years ago. The tiny dry lines in my face have disappeared, and my wrinkles (honest!) are getting smaller. It hasn't helped me lose weight, but I don't care. The difference in my skin, hair, and nails has made me a very happy consumer. This is an update: Before taking NeoCell Collagen, my hair was thinning, not growing back, looking limp and lifeless. After taking this product for about a year, my is growing back and is thicker than ever. When I was young, I had fine hair, but lots of it. As I aged, the hair stayed fine, but it started disappearing. I can honestly say that now, the amount of hair has increased, and the stuff that's growing in is thicker than the old hair. My hair is young and shiny again, and I believe it's all because of this product.

I purchased this for my Mom and I. My mom is 84 yrs young she does have real bad arthritis in her neck, back, arms, hands, and knees. She wanted to try it for hair loss. I am 42 yrs young with arthritis and disk disease, fibromylgia , migraines and many wrinkles. Now 2 weeks into taking this Collagen my mom has much less pain and has cut down on her OxyContin by a lot. In fact she has not needed it for 3 days. Her wrinkles are shrinking. If you ever seen how deep an 84 year olds wrinkles are you would really be able to see the difference in them on her. Her hair loss has stopped. As for me my nails are looking better no more ridges, skin is looking much smoother with a lot less wrinkles yes I do use face cream also, but this is making a big difference in my appearance. My pain is starting to lessen but I also take shizandra berry but I feel the collagen is helping a lot. I will continue to update monthly so you will know how this is helping my mom and I. Also this has helped with my mom ingrown toenails they are not hurting her. I do recommend for any one to give this a try and see what it can do for you. We are going to continue to buy this and from amazon.

Worked amazing for my nails! I was given my first bottle to me by my mother, this is my refill order. After using them regularly at first, then every other day (sporadic), and last three weeks regularly again. I can 100% say my nails are so much stronger. I wasn’t having much problems with hair or joint pain, but I can testify for the nails! I let them get long before cutting them and they were incredibly strong. Should of taken pictures, they were healthy looking and even my toenails, which always tear off, are staying strong. If you want healthier strong nails I can 100% testify they worked for me. When cutting them they didn’t shatter as well as my nails can, they were a clean cut that followed the nail clippers lines. Just very satisfied and I’m sure if they are working for my nails they are helping elsewhere.

Great ingredients, lightweight tablets that aren't too hard to swallow. Though they can get sticky and you have to take soo many per day which is difficult to keep up with.
