Why did the price on this go up soooo much?

Simple: PRICE GOUGING as it's not available locally. Assume high demand for other Clorox products shifting production to other products.

Can I use this product with a septic system?

I also use it with a septic system. I use it sparingly and my septic cleaning tech said they just add more bacteria and it will be fine. I have never had a problem and love the quality product.
