Shenmoyl Semi Flush Mount Vintage Lights - Gold Hallway & Porch, 4.72" Base Modern Ceiling Light Fixture, Green Tulip Glass, Bulb Included

We recently bought a 1930's bungalow in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to turn it into our dream retirement home, and this Semi Flush Mount Ceiling Light from Shenmoyl Store was exactly what we needed! The vintage design with the green flower glass and gold accents fits perfectly with the boho style we’ve been decorating our home in. It adds just the right amount of warmth and charm, blending seamlessly with the eclectic vibe we’re going for. We installed it in our TV room, and it’s the perfect fit! I was a little worried about the installation, especially with the old wiring in these homes, but the wiring was surprisingly easy to work with. I’ve encountered some odd wiring issues in older homes, but this fixture went up without any trouble. The design made it a breeze to install, and the included bulb was a nice bonus. Once it was up, the warm light it gives off really brought the space to life and made it feel even more inviting. Whether it’s for the hallway, kitchen, TV room, or even our porch, this light fixture brings the perfect mix of boho elegance and vintage charm. Beautifully made! The lightbulb it comes with isn't very bright, more like a warm dimmed light, it works for my small highway that doesn't get much light though. Love the tulip look and gold metal!

These lights are so pretty themselves and when they're lit they throw a pretty pattern of light across the ceiling. Instead of nondescript canned lights, I hung these as accents in the living room and a bedroom. I used vintage looking bulbs that really add to the retro feel. And they'll be easy to change the bulbs since there isn't an enclosed globe. The electrician who was installing new wiring throughout my 1895 house put them in and he loved their lighting effect and how pretty the glass is... he wanted some for his house! He also wired them separately from the center chandelier so I can just turn them on if I want to have pretty, cozy lighting in the living room. I can see these in pantries, closets or other small rooms, or multiples spaced out in larger rooms, like mine. I love their look and get the most compliments on them!

Beautiful quality and easy to install. Great for narrow spaces, I wouldn’t recommend them for larger areas since they are on the smaller side and do not hang down much.

I measured but the light still just seems smaller than I thought! Still very pretty but not as much of a statement as I’d hoped! Nice quality and easy to install, color is as shown too.

We are so in love with this light fixture, but the way the wiring was done has made it completely impossible to install.

The mounting screws are too short for the pendant cap. I tried to attach this to an existing ceiling light box and the bolts coming down wouldnt come out of the unit. The screws are barly the length of the cap, so the mounting plate has to be inset to the pendant cap for the screws to come out enough to put the screw caps on them. After grapling with this thing for way to long, only my extreme love for my wife kept me from chunking it out the window. I had to find longer screws to attach the mounting plate down away from the ceiling before the screws for the pendant cap would show enough to put their caps. From the instructions they just want you to punch a 1/2" hold on the wall and mount the bracket with drywall anchors. I don't know why you wouldn't design this to work with the normal light box but I guess they want wires floating in people's attics without the box. Just know it's not as easy as they pretend it to be.
