Mine was Purchased in 2011, but the metal builders plate welded to the bottom of the tank says "MFG USA 06-1999". In my case, the safety valve is rated at 130, the gauge maxes out at 160, but the builders plate says my tank is rated for 225. This unit works perfectly. But remember, this is an older model that weighs a ton and is difficult to use without it's shoulder strap. ( I'm 6-ft & weigh 210 ). Since the specs on these tanks may vary over the last 20 years of production, I recommend asking the seller to check the information on the builders plate of whatever model you are buying. **Q: Where is this made?** A: The components are manufactured in China (at least mine), but don't let that discourage you. TSI is an American company located in phoenix they have a strong reputation for quality, and specifically known for this superior bead seater. I would suggest not go with a cheaper substitute or something more expensive that looks fancy.
