I bought this pH Meter for multiple uses and I am very pleased with it thus far. I make my own sausage and salami. I also can and preserve a lot of stuff out of my own garden so for food safety, I find it to be very important to have accurate pH readings. This meter is incredibly accurate and does what I need it to do.I also like the fact that it can be used as a probe for measuring the pH of my soil but I don't actually use it exactly for this use as I don't want to damage the tip of the probe by shoving it into soil. Instead, I will mix up a slurry using soil and distilled water and measure the pH of the slurry and it works very well.I am extremely happy with this meter. I highly recommend it and would definitely purchase it again.

I already had to return 2 if these they are not accurate even this new one just came directly from Amazon and look it's not accurate.

Hmmm is it Amazon or blue lab? Gave 3 stars cus I returned it right away being used and broken. The white ptfe ring above the glass probe is brown meaning it’s been used and the cap which holds the solution is cracked in the other photo. Also had a drop or two of brown liquid in the cap. One thing that kept annoying me was the rubber gasket that’s used to keep the kci solution on the tip… it keeps coming out of the cap and sticking on the probe. I had to keep pulling it off and putting it back into the cap. The whole black gasket thing that another reviewer mentioned seems like a poor design. The blue lab soil pen works much better for keeping the kci solution safe when storing the probe. This rubber gasket is a poor design. I returned it as it’s used and broken but won’t be ordering another due to the poor design of the cap.

One of the reviewers doesnt seem to understand that you use the calibration solution to calibrate the meter to the solution. After you calibrate to the ph your solution is, then it is accurate. smh lol

Like: Meter is accurate. Have checked it against my blue lab guardian and they show the same values as long as probes are cleaned and calibrated often.Dislike: the display shuts off automatically and find the duration is too short, which is annoying. The O-ring on the storage solution cap is completely the wrong size and difficult to work with/annoying. The packaging arrived as though it had been through a nstural disaster. Completely smashed and torn apart. My guess is, not great for a scientific, glass instrument?? Would give it a 5 out of 5 if not for these factors.

Box was rough and individual packing torn open.. Probe box torn open / probe not in protective liquid.. Meter had coating of dust on it. Something oozing. Horrible!!!!!
