Good amount of assembly required/ pump break to accelerate
Bike definitely comes with assembly required, for the price it’s a great purchase, it’s definitely not for a younger unexperienced audience with E bikes, it definitely is a road only and not a bike trail type of E bike as it’s basically a E bike motorcycle. Once assembly is completed, there needs to be a note that one of the brakes has to be pumped before you can accelerate. Had to find that out through hands-on troubleshooting on my own as that was not a part of the instructions of operations. I do have a couple of negatives that I would like to address. 1, there is no key required for a ignition/Killswitch. Which means if somebody knew how to operate it while I have it parked and not locked-up and they knew how to start it and accelerate somebody could ride off. There is a key that comes with the Bike for the battery which is the “gas tank” / battery, but it is only to disengage the lock to remove the battery from the frame. 2, and I think this is important. Any inclined hill the Bike suffers from fully accelerating to top speed., from my experience and I’ve put on 400 miles so far any incline uphill causes the bike to slowly accelerate and not even break 30 miles an hour, now once it levels off or there’s a hill downward it fully accelerates very quickly, that said a full downhill equaling 3 blocks + I’ve gotten the bike up to 45 miles an hour, one of the main reasons I chose this bike for purchases to keep up with residential traffic, some roads in my metro area, which can be 35 mile an hour roads it takes a minute to fully accelerate, I do think outside temperature makes that a factor as well, again any uphill it struggles to meet the 34mph and can take a solid block to reach that top speed. Don’t get me wrong once it gets to top speed. It’s a quick machine and fun ride. Another negative is although it has the back spring shocks with shock absorber canisters the seat will bottom out and hit the back fender. That said it does come with all the safety features displayed., front head light bright LED light, turning signals, back brake light that illuminates brighter when breaking back brake turning signals as well, it very much rides like a motorcycle and it’s turning radius. The battery life is amazing. I was out on a ride for almost 3 1/2 hours and I still had three bars left. The pedal assist function only goes as fast as you pedal, which might be looked at as a negative as well. In fact, I never even really pedal it, and mostly just use the pedals as a stationary foot rest. It’s definitely a head turner and I get stopped and asked about the bike almost anywhere I go. Definitely the right Bike for the right type of experienced rider. 9.7. /10

Everything I wanted it to be and more!
Ok so I was researching e-bike or scooters for at least 3 months before pulling the trigger on this bad boy here. Building the bike was fairly straightforward if you watch the Bigniu Bike Installation video on YouTube. I watched it in .75x normal speed to make pausing it a bit easier. The bike is pretty heavy, but with a heavy duty tubular chassis like this one I’d hardly call it a surprise. The looks of this thing are top tier. I’m 6’0” 220 pounds and I fit on it quite comfortably. I’ve put about 10 miles on it so far so not a ton of ride time but I already love it. I rode it at night with the headlights on and it was plenty bright for a night rider and having blinkers and a tail light makes me feel extra safe on the road. The pedals and cranks are a bit light so I might try to adjust them to have a higher gear ratio for me, as I also ride spin bikes quite often and pedaling on this bike really doesn’t generate any speed. I also don’t know if the bike has regenerative breaking of any kind, but with a battery this size who cares. My breaks squeal a little bit under pressure but I think I just need to figure out how to adjust them. The default settings on the bike computer are set to 3 modes of pedal assist, however if you watch YouTube videos on how to change the settings, you can update the computer for up to 5 levels of pedal assist. I was hoping there was a way to increase the output to the motor to increase top speed but alas I think my top speed being my size is roughly 34-35 on flat road, and I’ve gotten close to 40 downhill before having to brake. She had more to give too. I will update in the spring with a warm weather endurance test to see what kind of distance I can get, but right now it’s sub 30 degrees outside where I live and I already know that’s going to limit the distance. All in all, I’m am super happy with my purchase. Definitely get a helmet since this thing hauls ass. Don’t wait, buy this bike. It’s awesome. I just wish there was a easier way to store it!

Super cool to ride!!!
This is the coolest electric bike on the planet. It only took an hour to set up and I love riding it. I have been waiting forever for someone to make a chopper electric bike and finally they did. This thing is so cool. I would recommend this to anyone and it does actually go 40 miles an hour headlights tail light turn signals and horn all included.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

solid bike. excellent customer service support
Update : unfortunately this product seems to have been made with cheap parts that have to keep upgrading and in fact having the heavy battery on top lends itself to falling over and it fell on me . Thank goodness I wasn't in the middle of traffic I went to the sidewalk. My knee still hurts . But there's continually problems: the cheap plastic kickstand fell off . The tires and the tubes had to be changed because they're not good moisture . And now the engine is not working. Their staff has been supportive but it doesn't change the fact that it was made with cheap parts and we're at risk by writing this. It should never have been released at this level of dangerous. In my opinion. I have lowered my rating due to these facts.: The manufacturer sent me a video that helped me remove the battery successfully. The brake issue wasn related to the compression button loosening itself. I readjusted it and it seems to be working now. .update the manufacturers have been timely amd assisting. i give them stars for that ive only owned this a short time. update back brakes dont work. cant remove battery. I'm working on the bike this weekend and doing some research thank you so much for quickly sending this bike. I love how sturdy it is and I like its metallic color. it took me a long time to put this together. took me 4 to 5 hours. I don't like that the the instructional video goes too fast. thank you so much. I also like that it comes with the windshield.

This bike is awesome, we'll worth the price
Im a big guy at 6ft 4in tall and 220lbs and I was worried I might be too heavy and tall for the bike but at max settings on the rear shocks and I stiffened the front forks and now it rides like a dream. The battery is abit stiff as its a nice snug fit. You just have to push from the back of the battery just above the connector and its pretty stiff at first. Charges just like they said and the time to charge was on the money. A down side is that the rear light cluster is right under the seat so don't hit any big bumps too fast or your gonna dent the fender. The big tires make it turn just like a motorcycle and the brakes are powerful but not much chance of going over your bars if you slam on the front brakes because you sit so low on the back. The rear turn signals are not very big or bright for daytime but are good at night. So far im loving this bike. And its my first ebike so im loving the whole getting outside for a ride but now im going on adventures lol. Well worth price I added tons of extras including a bunch of led lights. Way too much fun. Lolololol I hope you enjoy it as much as I am.

Amazing e-bike
I was initially very skeptical about purchasing and receiving a product through Amazon. However, I chose this e-bike because of its look and style. I don’t have any experience with e-bikes, but after visiting a few e-bike stores, I decided I wanted a moped-style bike. The Bigniu BGX looked exactly like what I wanted in the pictures. I checked out a few videos on YouTube and decided to make the purchase over the weekend. Done. To my surprise, the box arrived in front of my garage on Wednesday—just 3-4 days later. Unbelievable! As I mentioned, I don’t have prior experience with e-bikes, but assembling this one was fun. There were a few confusing moments, but YouTube videos were a big help. Riding the BGX is incredibly fun. I’m not sure how to fully describe the feeling—it’s just a great e-bike! It’s very stable, comfortable, stylish, and can be very fast when you need it to be. One tip: Make sure you lock the battery in place and hear a click when you install it. Have fun!

Impressive concept, but expect to fix things yourself
This bike looks great and feels powerful when it’s working — but it’s not ready out of the box. Mine had motor issues from day one, and also arrived with a warped front brake disc that I had to fix myself using a special tool. The rear shocks weren’t functional — they looked adjustable, but weren’t. Support sent me grease, a replacement gear, and a vague video so I could disassemble and fix the motor on my own. That’s when I realized: this isn’t a ride-ready product. It’s a DIY project. If you’re not comfortable opening up motors, replacing parts, and troubleshooting things on your own, this bike probably isn’t for you. I only managed a few rides before it ended up back in pieces. Great idea, but poor execution.
