Ranger Distressed Inks
Beautiful distressed ink pads to use for crafting. A little goes a long way. I was impressed on how this enhances paper craft and the colors are gorgeous

A little dry
I wonder how long this merchandise hangs around in storage. I'm going to have to buy reinkers to get these stamp pads juicy enough to use easily. Colors are great. I wish there was ridges on the containers making them easier to handle.

juicy ink pads
I was sort of expecting these to be a bit dry due to the reviews that had their ink pads come dry. However, mine are the opposite! They showed up completely juicy and full of ink, but not overflowing with ink. I absolutely adore the pastels and the muted colors found in this 12 pad set. I have already used several of the colors for distressing the edges of tags & journal cards. Highly recommend these ink pads, and also this set in particular!

Disappointed in this once good product.
I don't have beef with companies very often but right now this goose is completely disgusted with Tim Holtz Distress Inks. I ordered a set of mini inks the other day - it came with 12 inkers. When it arrived I put them away for a few days and didn't try them till laat week. Of the 12 inks 7 were dry with a couple barely having any ink. The set wasn't cheap so I contacted Amazon where I had ordered it from the Ranger store. I wanted to let them know the product seemed old, dried out. They took my information and sent me a replacement set which I just opened. The new ones aren't much better. Again about half are drying out, some so bad the pad is lifting and curling. These are Tim Holtz products they should be arriving in top quality for what they cost and the reputation they have. In the pics below the ink on the left is the one I just opened, the right the one I originally opened last week. This is frustrating! I love how the distress inks react with other mediums and the areay of colors available. They used to be the most amazing inkers but I had not bought a set like this in a few years, the set back then arrived nice and juicy, in excellent condition. I was happy to recommend them to others but right now I am not happy with this. The dry ones barely lay down any color, they are not functional and doubt the little ink they do have will last long.

Expensive but a cool effect and saves alcohol marker ink for backgrounds
The couple I have tried have worked. The effect is cool and it’s fun to sprinkle water drops on the ink and watch them morph into something new. These are pretty expensive, and also kind of difficult to transfer over to my cardstock. I have a few different types of sponge that I’ve tried, and I have to press them super hard into the pad to get ink onto them, but I did have a bit of good luck with the blue pad I used. I’m on the fence about these. Probably won’t buy more.
