Rossi by Savinelli Pipes Rubino Antico Series (Bent Billiard, 8606) | Dark Red Polished Handmade Wood Briar Pipe, Made in Italy, 6mm

I was amazed at how well this little oom paul smoked. I was aware that Rossi were Savinelli seconds and to expect some possible cosmetic or quality issues compared to a Savinelli. But this has very nice grain, fit and finish are first rate, and it smokes wonderfully using the 6mm balsa filters. One is in the pipe as well as an adapter in the package if you don’t want to use a filter. I ordered more balsa filters right after my first smoke as I really enjoyed the dry smoke. It didn’t interfere with flavor or smoke quality at all, just kept it nice and dry. I comfortably smoked twice after letting the pipe and filter cool and dry. For me and my aromatics twice seems like a good balance per filter for this specific pipe. The pipe is beautiful, clenches well, light weight but feels high quality. Most importantly is the smoking. Fantastic. I was happy enough with it that I have ordered a second Rossi today (2 days after receiving this one). I highly recommend these if you are on a budget or just don’t feel the need to spend more than you have to for an enjoyable smoke. I hope this helps.

This is my first higher priced pipe I have purchased and it's well Worth it! Great pipe, smokes good and looks beautiful. Size is good the briar wood is durable. It does what it's meant for and does it well.

This was my first Rossi and I wasnt sure what to expect. But it has easily become a go to in my daily line up of pipes. It punches significantly above its weight class for the price! I would highly recommend this pipe.

Fast shipping. <24hours. Smokes great. Was worried about a “longer” break-in. Not an issue. Comes with a balsa filter and spacer (tighter flow). Will buy more Rossi’s for sure. I dont feel like it’s a “value” pipe at all. Very smooth and dry smoker. Quality is top notch!

I purchased this specifically as a gift and, frankly, the unboxing experience was embarrassing. Despite the price point, the packaging feels very low-end, like something you'd pick up for $10. It really lowers the perceived value of the item. Just a heads up to anyone planning to give this to someone else… you will likely need to repackage it.

Great basic pipe. Do yourself a favor and remove the wooden filter inside and use the straight-through insert that the pipe comes with.
