Good solder from Amazon
I come from the old school and use end feed copper fittings. This solder is a good price, good product and solders well with flux. The mistake most people make is not to prepare the pipe and fittings properly. You need to clean the pipe and fittings with steel wool so that the outside of the pipe and the inside of the fitting is bright clean copper, smear flux on both surfaces and apply heat to the middle of the fitting until the solder melts and capillerates. Don't touch the joint for five minutes or there is a danger of movement a d a subsequent dry joint and a possible leak for the future. Remember, soldering means thinking cleanliness is next to godliness. I am a skilled electrical mechanical engineer by profession and was an on screen expert for BBC Watchdog and Rogue Traders for some years and subsequently sworn to honesty. I tend to research a product drilling down into the quality and value of the item before I buy. I am not paid for my reviews and have no personal gain from them. I have no difficulty recommending this item. What's not to like. Go buy!

Very good solder. First time using soft solder on copper pipes. Melts very quick. And flows fast. Just be careful coz it flows fast will leave a blob of solder under joint. But brilliant solder at a great price

Good quality fast delivery
Excellent quality conform water- and gasinstallations. Together with FLUX S65 easy to use. Don't forget that with TIN&LEAD you've got 3 aggregrations: solid, coarse, fluid, this Cornat only has 2 steps, that is from solid to fluid. No coarse(breiachtige) step. So clean it thoroughly, use Flux S65 and heat it up to 270 degrees at the most 300 degr. After putting away the torch, fill the cappilair fitting without touching it. Let it cool down naturally without using water. It doesn't contain acids like S39.
