I took up yoga about 2 weeks ago in hopes it might provide some relief. This wheel is definitely painful to use, but as anyone with chronic back pain will tell you, it really doesn't matter... we live with pain 24/7 and will try anything to relieve it. I have been using this wheel for 2 days, 3 times per day (backbend poses), and already my pain has decreased significantly. I also sit on the floor and use it to stretch my calves (as suggested online) and that has helped relieve the tendon tension that runs down my leg due to my back pain. I recommend this to anyone who can stand a little short term discomfort in favor of some real relief the rest of the day. I looked at another wheel from a different company but there were several reviews saying it snapped (EEK) so I chose the UpCircleSeven one instead, and I have found it to be super sturdy. Read reviews carefully when comparing these wheels.
