I ordered this cake mix to To use for birthday cupcakes for my son’s classroom as there is a kid with a dairy allergy. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and consistency of the batter. Much better than other vegan & gluten free mixes I’ve used in the past

I wanted to like this product I truly did. I was skeptical based on some of the reviews but I took a chance anyways. I made this for my daughters first birthday (she has a dairy allergen) and I was SO disappointed. The best/worst way to describe it is it tasted like corn bread, but not even good corn bread. The texture was weird. The batter itself had this off taste so it didn’t leave me with high hopes at all… Not even the icing could save it sadly. It went in the trash. Next time I’m not cutting corners I’m just going to make a vegan cake from scratch, which is what I’m recommending to you. Or try another brand, this was a waste of money and it was not cheap!! Im writing this review months later but I had to come back to tell y’all because I most certainly did not forget this terrible experience.

The taste of this is AMAZING - I have made both cupcakes and the cake - the batter is not so great, but something magical happens in the oven to make it very tasty. I have used homemade almond milk as well as a can of low fat coconut milk and both times it was SO good (a little moister with the coconut milk)! This is now my go-to cake whenever I want a birthday cake - I can eat birthday cake again, which is so exciting. I frosted it with the Miss Jones vegan vanilla frosting. Looking forward to trying the Vegan Knife spice cake with the Miss Jones cream cheese vegan frosting!

Really glad I found this cake mix, as my son seems to be allergic to everything. One package does make a very small and more flat cake. It tasted like a sugar cookie! Very good. Just wish it was cheaper as I had to buy 4 to make my son a birthday cake. Shipping was also slow. Not sure why it's considered to be a part of amazon prime if it takes a week or more to ship. Overall very please, just wish it was less expensive. Seems a little steep for the size it makes.

I am so excited to have found this cake mix. Baking vegan, gluten-free is tough and I miss simple yellow cake. For some reason chocolate cakes work out for me but never yellow. They're gummy or dry; taste like baking soda or have no rise. Not this mix! I used thin homemade almond milk & coconut oil. It tastes like a sugar cookie!

Made gluten free birthday cupcakes. Makes 12 which is half as many as other GF mixes and costs alot more.

Exceeds expectations. Taste pretty good bought this for my son for his birthday cake. He has allergies of eggs,milk and nuts. Trusted this product to do the job and it turned out great. Had a couple complaints from other guest stated it was too sweet but good for vegan. I personally that it was good period its a cake what do you expect. Overall i highly recommend for vegans as well as individuals that have allergies. One bag made me a 8 inch cake.

I’ve been on the search for a good vanilla vegan cake. I was super excited to receive my cake mix and frosting delivery today and immediately made the cake and followed all the instructions listed on the back of the package. It came out beautifully. Unfortunately this one missed the mark and didn’t taste as good as it looked. My boyfriend and I both ate one small piece and couldn’t eat anymore. There was something off about the taste. Maybe it was too sweet. It reminded me of the taste of the premade cupcakes you can buy at a grocery store. I will continue my search for a good vanilla vegan cake and frosting.
