CD4930 Black Corded Phone with Digital Answering System, Caller ID, Extra-Large Tilt Backlit Display & Big Buttons

This is a big button phone with amplification and clear speaker phone. The integrated answering machine is easy to set up and can be used for call screening, since the outgoing message and incoming voice are heard at all times. There is a subtle beep for waiting messages as well as a visual indicator. The large display for caller ID also shows a scrolling menu for setting up and controlling the phone's functions. Great quality all around.

I bought this land-line phone for my business and personal needs. It has caller ID, which allows me to identify unknown callers seeking to sell me stuff. The screen is easy to read and the set-up took only a few moments. Good value and a very good choice.

Bought this through Amazon.com. Price and delivery were very satisfactory. The phone has nice features like the amber back lighted display with large characters in addition to the large dial buttons especially good for older folks with less than perfect vision. The speaker phone works in a satisfactory manner. Now for what I think may need some improvement: - when you record a voice greeting you have speak to the phone approximately 9 inches away from the phone. There should be a way to record your greeting on the handset. The resulting recorded greetings were not as good as they should be in this day and time - I would not let this keep me from buying this phone at this price point. - our mounting location in the kitchen is under a high cabinet but lower than what many wall phone elevations are. The display on the phone is ok if you are sitting or kneeling down, but if you are standing the ability to read the display is diminished. The display tilts down, but I think the manufacturer should consider giving the display more range of tilt to include a few degrees up tilt. - the small recording controls buttons at the top of the keypad could be a little larger to accommodate larger characters so they would be more readable by the visually challenged. Overall this phone is very nice and I recommend its purchase - it just could use some improvements. (Some reviewers complained about a flimsy wall mounting bracket that comes with the phone - I have had no problems with the phone coming off the wall even with small jerks on the handset cord.)

Was everything I was hoping! It has big numbers for mature eyes, voice mail box and the caller ID screen is very large....again for the mature eyes. :-). The only thing I don't love about it is the speakerphone, is a little muffled but not bad enough to send it back. Hooked the phone up in less than 5 minutes, I would recommend this just for a home phone or its great for a business phone as well, it does have the capability for call waiting but you do have to have two lines for that feature

You can't beat AT & T! For fone productsnever had a problem! Altho with this one had to gt a friend to finally get a line thru; fault not on my end. Followed instructions but...The problem was solved thank God and I will never ever switch fone products again!

Just received this phone. I'd give the sound quality a four-- a little static-- but I still hear everything loudly and clearly So far all the phone functions are working just fine. Easy set up.

I bought this phone for my mother, who isn't very good with technology, is a bit hard of hearing, and doesn't see very well. I specifically bought the phone for the large LCD display with the orange background, because of its high contrast, and the hearing assist feature. The ringer can be turned up nice and loud, and the hearing assist feature amplifies the caller enough that mom can easily hear the person on the other end. She can also read the caller ID display, so this phone has met my expectations. It's also pretty easy to use. When viewing the caller ID list, if she wants to call someone back, all she needs to do is pick up the handset and the phone will dial the number. So she can use this phone even though she's not very technologically savvy. There are a few things that I don't like about the phone. - Limited Directory listings. You can only store 25 numbers into memory. These days when you may have a home phone, plus two or three mobile numbers for a family member, 25 numbers just isn't adequate. Especially if you need to take into account: Children (and spouses) grandchildren, friends, etc... 50 would be a better limitation, while 100 numbers would probably be ideal. - Directory isn't alphabetical! I can't figure this one out, as it would seem that alphabetizing your phone list would be basic functionality. However, this phone doesn't seem to think so. What this means, is that it makes it difficult to find individual phone numbers using the directory. The directory has a feature (most phones do this) that you can enter the directory, then press one of the number keys to go directly to a letter of the alphabet. In theory, this makes it easy to locate a number. Calling a name starting with a "J"? Press the 5 button and start scrolling through the "J's". With this phone though, the numbers are in the directory in the order you've added them... So, you can press the 5 button to get to the J's, but scrolling down may go J, S, B, etc... This just doesn't make any sense to me... The manual says the entries will be sorted alphabetically if you go to a letter and scroll down, but this isn't the case. No matter how I try to scroll through the directory, it isn't sorted properly. - Abridged manual. For some reason, the manual included with this phone is the abridged version. If you want the full manual, you'll need to download the .PDF from AT&T's support site. The abridged manual doesn't describe some functionality that I would consider necessary information. For example, the abridged manual tells you how to add your home area code, as well as four alternate local area codes. What it doesn't explain is what this area code is used for. In my area, the area code is required on local calls, so the phone should display 10 numbers. Thinking that adding the area code would enable this functionality, I added it as my home area code. Then I was trying to figure out why the caller ID was only showing 7 numbers. So if you tried to call a number back using the caller ID information, the call wouldn't go through because it won't dial the area code first. After trying to figure out what was going on, I noticed that the manual said it was the abridged version... What? So I went to AT&T's website and downloaded the full manual. The full manual describes that the function of adding the area code is the opposite of what I would expect. Adding your home area code to the phone will cause the caller ID data to NOT show the area code! If you need the area code to make local calls, don't add your area code... The full manual also explains how to change this data on the fly using the pound key. If a number comes through as showing only 7 digits and you need 10, you can press the pound key to add the area code to the number. Why isn't this in the abridged manual? - Audio assist is per call. You can't tell the phone to always use audio assist. You must press the audio assist button each time you are on a call. I can see how this would make sense if multiple users are going to be using the phone, but if only a single person will be using it and they are hard of hearing, it would be nice to have a way to always enable the audio assist.

I bought this model years ago and when I saw it again, I immediately felt like buying another one. I love how it looks & operates.

A qualquer hora da noite ou do dia, mesmo de longe, você pode enxergar o número de telefone que está ligando, o visor do Identificador de Chamadas acende e é legível a qualquer momento.. De brinde, há um secretário eletrônico que atende as chamadas, e se é chamada de golpe, os golpistas desligam imediatamente, porque o secretário eletrônico falando em Inglês desfaz a vontade dos bandidos. AMEIIII ESTE TELEFONE !!!!!!!!

Fue un regalo para mis papas por los números grandes, ellos están muy contentos con el teléfono ya que pueden ver quien llama y buen volumen.

Este teléfono está hecho con MUCHA calidad, muy bien ensamblado, excelentes materiales y funciona MUY bien!!! Lo compré para cambiar el teléfono fijo de mi casa, habiendo comprado varios antes (de calidad regular o mala pero de precio similar), y éste es infinitamente de mejor calidad, y tiene grabadora de llamadas!!! ESTA ES LA MEJOR OPCIÓN PARA UN TELÉFONO FIJO DE CASA, sin duda!!!

Had an issue with phone, they acted professionally and resolved with issue right away. I was impressed with their communication and have no issue doing business with them again.
