I purchased the Fisher Price Smart Stages chair as a Christmas present for my three year old granddaughter. It was her favorite gift at our family holiday gathering. She loved climbing and standing on it and pushing all the buttons. Just the perfect size for her. It is sturdy and remained stable even when older children climbed on it. Just putting her toys in the lift-up seat and taking them out again kept her entertained for hours. Additional toys were also included. The light up pretend tv remote and flip book were her favorites. Assembly took just 10 minutes for one person. It involves just a few main parts (base, seat, feet) and screws using a Phillips screw driver. Just be sure to put the batteries in first. It requires 3 AA batteries and they were easy to install. This product is high quality, made of durable plastic and built to last. The price is very comparable to similar items in this price range. It was exactly as described and the colors were bright, vibrant and as pictured. It was well packaged, arrived undamaged and on time. Highly recommended.

I originally purchased this for my son when he turned one, but he mostly ignored it. He would use it as a step stool but not much else. I became pregnant again when he was about 6 months old, so we held on to it knowing that even though he didn’t enjoy it as much as we hoped, it could still possibly be used. My daughter is 8 months old and loves this chair. The first time she pulled herself up to standing, was while holding on to it. She climbs on it to a kneeling position, turns the pages, sits down on it, dances to the music. It seems to provide her with endless entertainment. She’s learning how to move and gaining confidence in it too. I’m happy that it turned out to be an excellent purchase after all. Given this, I would recategorize this as 7 months and up since that’s when she first became interested in it. We love this chair.

This is more than a chair?There's activities to perform on it. The seat actually lifts up , and they learn to place small toys in there for Hide & Seek . This beautifully colored chair is so sturdy and balanced that my grandson of 18 months can stand on it, climb over the back of it and it's Never tipped over. Very interactive!!

My little one absolutely loves this! She turned one, loves to bounce on it and she’s a chubby baby so it’s very sturdy! She likes to stand on it sometimes and it scares me but it has not tipped over at (so far lol). I had this for about 5 months now and I have yet changed the batteries on it so the battery life is good! It is very cute and my little one learned to use it really well where it helped her sit and stand! Such a cute gift for your babies!

Must buy toddler toy!!

Seems small for my kid. He is 10 months old however in the 99th percentile. He is currently 27 lbs and seems big in the seat. He likes flipping the pages of the book and opening the toy storage more than sitting in the chair. The back rest comes off frequently when I pick it up to move. It’s a cute idea however could be improved l.

This was a shower gift hasn’t been used yet. Baby is not born, but the item looks well built and cute. We just don’t know how much the babies gonna like it yet.
