Four different challenges to this Level 3 puzzle. A favorite in this three Golden Retriever puzzle-loving household. Easy to clean & appropriately designated as Level 3 with the variety of solutions. This provides just enough challenge to keep it fun without too much frustration. My dogs have approximately 10-12 puzzles (all levels) that I rotate between them so they don't get bored & quickly clear treats due to repetition making it too easy. This one is definitely a favorite. It takes a little more time than to solve. The lifting lever seems to be the spot that consistently slows progress & makes them think how to work it. The sliding rectangles also have to be solved in an order that creates continued access to find just the right solving sequence. This puzzle seems to be quite durable as compared to others, too.

This toy is awesome, perfect size for a small to medium dog. My dog had some trouble figuring it out the first couple times but now they get done within 5mins. Good way to slow them down and keep them entertained. Really nice that you can take it apart and pop it in the dishwasher, definitely worth the price

Our lab is 14 weeks old and she loves this puzzle. She gets very excited when we put it down. It takes her about 10 to 15 minutes and it's fascinating to watch her 'go at it'. Her approach is very much 'scrabble' fast and it will be interesting to see if she develops a better approach as she gets older. The puzzle is well made but needs a little supervision as the element with the handle is just asking to be chewed.
