Arrived on time in a robust resalable pouch.Used this as it was called for in a medieval Gingerbread recipe‘And if thou would have it red colour it with sandalwood now’And that what it did . Not a bright red more of a brownish red but that may have been due to other ingredients in the mix. No pronounced flavour to the powder, which is good as I only wanted to add colour.

Quality - authentic red sandal ????
I bought beautiful red sandal powder from Oman 2 years ago. My supply has finished. The fragrance hits as soon as you open the tin and is even better.I bought this red cottage red sandal powder in the hope it would have some element of the Omani powder. It doesn't... at all. Very disappointing. Waste of money. I don't normally write reviews, but ...save your pennies.
