I had to cut off the end of my 5/8" Flexilla garden hose. This was easy to install and the clamps are 303 stainless steel. I finally have a hose that doesn't leak.

Yes, a garden hose repair kit can be beautiful. I know for I have gazed upon just such a thing. Everything is exactly as it should be. The machining, the fit, and the finish are works of art. I was a bit concerned when the photos showed o-rings instead of rubber washers, but proper washers showed up: both installed between the male and female pieces, and spares as well. And again, I wasn't so sure about the bumps on the hose clamps instead of the slots I was used to, but I was persuaded by the promise of "German stainless steel" mentioned in one of the photos. I must say, this may be my new favorite type of hose clamp. The clamps with the slots leave narrow sections of steel on either side of the slot to carry the entire stress of the clamping forces. I've had more than one clamp break right at this high-stress point. I feel confident these will suffer no such fate. You get the entire width of the strap to keep things tight. Top quality and sized correctly. I ordered both 5/8 and 3/4 hose and repair kits for various different sized hoses. It's very important that you don't try to use a universal fitting on different hoses it will restrict your flow and pressure..... These were well made, sturdy, included extra ceiling rings, and stainless steel hose clamps. Corn even better repair I'm going to see if my PEX crimping system will crimp on here in place of the hose clamps but to get me going on my project today I use the hose clamps and everything was great. Why buy aluminum fittings that will wear out easily when you can get good sturdy brass fittings. The sealing rings are made out of an extra heavy duty wear resistant plastic and extras were included. These are good.

Looks to be well made, heavy duty. Got this for a just in case I need it. It should do the job when needed.

The connector worked vey well. I was able to save a hose with a bad kink near the end by cutting off about a foot and installing this connector. I had to lubricate both the connector and hose with soapy water but after that it installed fairly easily. Very solid connection and no leaks
