This MERCUSYS Mifi Portable Router is a vast improvement on the wired router I had before this. It's very responsive and is easy to set up anywhere. It also has very good coverage through the house, and am able to stream programmes on demand without any annoying buffering. It's a real leap forward, for me, and at a very reasonable price.

We moved in a few months ago, and our internet provider told us it would take them 3 weeks to connect us to internet, cue shock and horror as I work from home and needed to be online. Hotspotting only gets you this far when you download data and your phone provider isn't great. I researched who was the strongest signal in our area and got a SIM with enough data for the whole family to use to tie us over until then. This was perfect! Easy to set up and find on our devices, simple to connect to. Signal shows with little green lights as it does on a normal router, and the strength signal reached upstairs to the bedrooms although a bit hit-and-miss for my Roblox players. That said, it worked great to have me connected on my laptop and working with uploading and downloading heavy docs, tablets and TV streaming. It's very compact and fits on the window sill perfectly. The only downside was that it needed to be plugged in, there is a battery option but it doesn't last all day and I couldn't take the risk to run out and have internet cut during a call. Quite inexpensive compared to routers out there, so overall a very good purchase.

It's a decent 4G router to be fair. I have it on my landing and everything connects just fine.

I purchased this Mercusys MT110 4g dongle at the beginning of October as my existing one decided to expire without warning. First impressions, it's big! Approx 11cms wide,7cms high and 2.5cms deep, not really pocket friendly, unlike my last one which was half the size. The set-up was straight forward and involves downloading an app (QR code provided) next you enter the unique passcode, which is tiny and printed on the bottom of the unit. I ended up photographing it, then expanding the image in order to see it properly. After that everything was straightforward, and gives you the chance to rename the unit/network and more importantly set a pass code. Other features in the app you can check the speed and battery life, see how much data has been used along with add/remove or temporarily block other devices. Also update any firmware as it's released. There is an auto power off (timer) and you can adjust the range. The unit arrived fully charged, ready to go, so no waiting for it to charge up which from 10% to full takes approx 1hr. Using a usb lead to tether it to a laptop will keep it charging whilst you work. Given my rural location the speed was impressive around 30-50Mbps. Which is enough to hook-up my TV, Alexa, 3 wi-fi cameras, laptop, tablet and phone! Although the TV does buffer if I use my laptop at the same time, understandable given all the other devices I have tethered in the background but that's probably down to my location, wi-fi signal than the actual unit. Battery life seems accurate, approx 10hrs tethered to my phone or laptop, between 6-8hrs if I'm using my TV for streaming. Con's: No getting away from the size even though it only weights 120g. The charging port is in the middle of the SIM slot and the power button, several times I've accidentally ejected the SIM card or powered the unit off whilst trying to insert the the mini-A charging cable. It would be nice if the charging port was the more common "C". The exposed nature of the SIM slot could lead to dirt ingress. The 3 function lights on the front of the unit are also tiny and only really visible at night or in a dark situation. Overall impression... Despite its (over) size the MT110 is impressive, powerful enough to tether several devices at the same time and still have enough battery life. I would rate this unit a solid 8/10 however, the design of the charging port next to the SIM slot and power button let's it down. All that said, I would recomend this unit based on price/performance.

Its claims up to 150mbps speed. I did a 4g speed test on my phone with the SIM card I was using and got 115mbps. This machine struggled to give me 30mbps. It peaked at 30mbps. This is a little slow for my usage causing lag and buffering during gaming and causing 4k video to buffer and lag. This would all run smoothly when i used 4g directly from my phone. Battery life is quite frankly awful you unplug it and it runs out within literally like 3 hours with literal minimal use that day and like literally less than an hour with heavy use. I resorted to keeping it plugged in all the time. This thing was so slow that I eventually gave up and got a gigacube from Vodafone since then it’s been 10x better.

If I could give this product 0 stars, I would. I have never bought a worse piece of technology. If you are buying this as a standalone Portable Mobile WiFi 4G LTE Router, then DO **NOT** BUY IT. It is a piece of junk. I have tested the SIM in multiple different devices - the SIM works fine, as does the network. The problem is this device. Cheap, poorly made, fails at least once a week if not more. Not intuitive. Horrific value for money. It is not durable. It is atrocious. Maybe you think I'm being unfair or unkind? If I could banish this device from the universe into the shadow realm, I would do so. I truly cannot stand it. It's severely negatively impacted my quality of life. I cannot recommend this to anyone. The sheer inconsistency of its ability to work, to do the bare minimum that it should do - provide wifi to devices via a mobile SIM. It has poor connectivity. It is flimsy. It breaks. It is slow. It DOES NOT WORK. In case anyone is in any doubt ---- I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT, I HAVE FOUND IT TO BE UTTERLY AWFUL. I should have written this review several months ago, but the worst part is this product functions just enough that I have only just reached the final straw. It functioned just enough, was just intermittently useful enough, that I never returned it or asked for a refund or got it replaced. But that was enough to cause psychological hell, and I wish I'd done it sooner. I look forward to the sunlit uplands when I replace this device with another better alternative. Do NOT believe any of the 5* or 4* reviews, believe the other 1* reviews like Duncan Bullock's. This is a cheap piece of plastic that breaks and fails miserably, and it makes me long for a world where companies care about their products working. I weep like a child for the past...

Bought this after returning another one that wouldn’t connect, found this one very easy to use and works brilliantly at caravan

Great bit of kit as a quick mobile wifi unit. Speeds arent amazing but 35mps in a 2 bar EE signal area is good enough for me. Bought it to use in my motorhome, so swap the sims dependant on where we are going and which one is best. Battery life is good but I usually leave it plugged in on a long lead and pop it up high for best signal. App is helpful to set up and interface is simple to use.Good value for money. You could piggy back off a hotspot on another phone, but who doesnt love a gadget !

Fonctionnement parfaitement, installation facile, combinaison Lan + 4G pour plus de stabilité réseau quand cela est possible. Belle amplification du signal bien meilleure qu'avec un partage de connexion sur tablette ou téléphone. J'en oublierai presque que je suis en 4G et plus en WiFi. Toutefois appareil assez volumineux surtout avec rajout d'antennes.

Router 4g para tarjeta sim. Es plug and play, por lo que resulta muy fácil de usar y facil de configurar pues también tiene una APP. Da suficiente señal para lo que quierras. Lo tengo instalado en una casa de campo, en una habitación, con un duplicado de mi sim del móvil y va perfecto. La señal llega de sobra no sólo a la casa, sino también al porche y a la zona de la piscina exterior.... bastante sorprendente. Va perfecto. Un 10.

Bin zufrieden, Verbindung ist eigentlich sofort da, weitere Einrichtung dauert mit der App auch nur ein paar Minuten,... Wobei ich anmerken muss, die App verliert nach ner Zeit die Verbindung zum Router und findet ihn nicht mehr,... Aber ich glaube das liegt an meinem Galaxy S22 Ultra, denn hab ein Spiel oben bei dem kann die Verbindung zum Server auch dann nicht mehr hergestellt werden und ich muss das Handy neu starten dass es wieder funktioniert,... Und das Smartphone hatte vorm letzten Androidupdate ähnliche Probleme, nur war da gleich das komplette "Mobile Internet" (WLan funktioniert), jz betriffts anscheinend nur mehr bestimmte Apps und daher wahrscheinlich auch die App für den Router,... Hab auch noch die Versicherungsverlängerung dazu genommen um ca 4€, damit sogar Gewährleistung mit der gesetzlichen für 3 Jahre, das ist meiner Meinung eigentlich fast geschenkt, denn das sind ca 16 Cent pro Monat wenn mann nur die Verlängerung ohne die gesetzliche Gewährleistung einrechnet. Also alles in allem bin ich sehr zufrieden damit bei dem Preis, ist ja einer der günstigsten Router was ich da auf Amazon gefunden hab, also Preis/Leistung top, kann ich weiter empfehlen, danke für die Aufmerksamkeit, lol

After doing my research, I knew this was the router for me! It has the gigabit ethernet ports, WEP encryption for 2000s Wi-Fi devices that are WEP only besides the WPA encryptions, dual band, Wi-Fi bridge (WDS) support, and the total speeds of 1200mbps I needed! I will simply turn off the WEP encrypted band when not in use, as I will only use that obsolete encryption for the WEP only devices. I was convinced that the AC1750 would support WEP too after asking the question. There was either one other two that said it did, but it didn't, and got my refund with no problem! So happy with what I got!
