These are great for desktop or even dressers. They are to use and the new model come with metal “nuts” embedded in dowels making assembly super easy. The only thing it would nice to add are slidingwooden bookend to support when books do not fill the the bookcase.

You need this!!! I love to read. I dont like searching for the books I like to read on a daily basis after Im relaxed in my bed or easy chair. So, with this little book shelf on my end table, it is a game changer. I have all the books at my fingertips. It takes a little room and is very sturdy. If you like to read you need this!

Update: this thing fell apart at every place it was not screwed in. I have used wood glue where I could but one of the dowels was broken off in the hole. Hopefully it stays together now. This bookcase is perfect for displaying my laptop sleeves and ipad sleeves in my craft booth. No set up alert the initial set up as I keep them put together between markets. Such a small footprint for such a useful item. You need this item. Would recommend.

Kind of a pain to put together, but it’s sturdy and looks great in my kitchen.

It came with a tiny screwdriver that served no purpose because there was no way to grip it with the strength needed. So assembly is not possible with the supplied toy sized tool. Once built, it’s a pretty sturdy and good looking table top bookshelf. I use it for kids books and it works well. I don’t think it was worth the money. Maybe a few dollars less was more acceptable.

This is such a great idea to display your cookbooks in your kitchen. Easy to assemble and looks great!

this thing is the best. super sturdy. if youre moving into a dorm and don't think you need one, then you my friend are wrong. this was one of the most useful things i bought and i love it. the wood also matches the picture.

Returning this item. The legs holding up the shelf are held on by pegs that can’t support the weight of books. The legs fall off if I even lift the book case up. Not sturdy at all. Cheap material and cheap build. Was easy to put together but falls apart

Holes are too small for screws by hand. Need to use a drill to make holes bigger and drill in screws.
