Excellent Mattress, Great Value, Comfortable, & Supportive
I am extremely happy with my purchase. It was easy to unbox and expanded to its full size within the recommended time. The mattress strikes the perfect balance between softness and support. It conforms to my body without making me feel like I’m sinking, and the targeted zoned support has made a noticeable difference in relieving pressure on my back. I also tend to sleep warm, and the cooling gel memory foam helps keep me comfortable throughout the night. For the price, the quality is outstanding. It feels well-made, provides excellent support, and has given me some of the best sleep I’ve had in a long time. If you’re looking for an affordable memory foam mattress that offers comfort, cooling, and back support, I highly recommend the Novilla Bliss mattress.

A Bed In A Box- An Intriguing Concept That Delivers
Who would think that a queen size memory foam mattress could fit in a small box which can be carried by one or two people? I didn’t. What a remarkable concept at an affordable price! But the most important question for any mattress, since you may be spending about 1/3 of your life on it is- “Is it comfortable?” In a word- Yes. It’s very comfortable- firm yet supple without being hard, while supportive in a slightly form-fitting way. Definitely firmer than a Tempur-Pedic which sinks in certain body areas while costing thousands. I was not very comfortable testing various Tempur-Pedic models- too much sag in my experience, like sleeping on firm Jello. If you prefer a soft or softer mattress this Novilla model may be too firm for you. We have a Sleep Number bed In our main home. We rented an apartment in another state so we could visit our family and grandchildren and needed to furnish it. We chose the Novilla mattress for our apartment. The mattress was delivered within a few days. It’s easy to unbox and set up- the mattress expands very quickly. There was no odor. Be careful opening the shipping box and cutting plastic wrap of mattress. No slicer is provided as was reportedly included a few years ago- I suggest using a good pair of scissors, not a knife for better control. Before removing the wrapping place the dark side of the rolled mattress (bottom of mattress) so it faces down to the bed frame. The first day it expanded to 10.5 inches, within a couple of days it was at its full 12 inch thickness. We set it up in the morning and slept well on it the same night. It has excellent isolation of movement from a partner while maintaining comfortable temperature. I usually sleep on my left side near the edge and have felt no sag in the side wall. We slept on it for a period of time before I wrote this review. For context my wife weighs under 100lbs. and I weigh 155lbs. My setting on our Sleep Number mattress is 55, my wife’s is 50 to anyone familiar with this brand adjustable air mattress. The Novilla feels somewhat firmer to me than the Sleep Number mattress at the 55 setting- I estimate in the 75-80 range. I have since owning the Novilla increased the air mattress sleep number to 75. To get an idea of what the Novilla feels like I suggest visiting a Sleep Number mattress store and test one at around a 75-80 setting. The 75-80 setting may vary somewhat depending on body weight and structure, but should give a relative idea how the mattress feels. My wife sleeps on her stomach and side, I sleep on my side and back. She has said on several occasions how comfortable the mattress is without my asking her what she thinks about it. My wife has never said that about the Sleep Number mattress where each side can be individually adjusted with 20 multiple settings from 5 to 100- very soft to very firm- by a remote-controlled air pump. The Novilla mattress appears to be well made with high quality materials and should last at least several years with occasional rotation. I purchased two more Novilla queen 12 inch mattresses to replace 23 year old Select Comfort (Sleep Number) adjustable air mattresses which cost many times more each to replace versus the price of the Novilla. I am very intrigued by this mattress- it delivers comfort and quality at an affordable price. We now own three Novilla queen mattresses- two in our main home and one in our apartment. We love our new mattress and have no reservations in recommending it. It’s easy to set up and provides very comfortable support and a good night’s sleep at an affordable price.

Excellent Quality and Very Comfortable
I’m very happy with this mattress. It was easy to set up, expanded quickly, and had very little odor after opening. It provides great support while still being comfortable, and I’ve been sleeping much better since I got it. The quality is excellent for the price, and it feels much more expensive than it is. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and supportive mattress.

A first impression...
Make no mistake, memory foam (gel foam) mattresses WILL feel very different from what you are used to. I have slept on coil spring mattresses all my life and was stubbornly skeptical of the claims on these. After 24 hours and a first night sleep I am beginning to convert. No morning pains and only mild stiffness from my spine getting used to this new (and better) feeling. So a few notes on what to expect... You WILL need to get used to the very different FEEL of this mattress, I figure a week will do it... You CAN sleep on it after the first 12 hours of waiting for it to pretty much stabilize and expand. The comfort will increase after a few nights I expect... Edge support is surprisingly good, but if you are an "edge sleeper" like my wife is you will need to train yourself to stay at least 6 inches away from that edge or risk an undignified plunk on the floor... Whatever your decision, before you buy KNOW you will have to get used to a different feel before you click order... As this is my first memory foam mattress I have no way to compare brands, but Novilla appears to be very quality conscious. It has a cotton outer casing and looks to me like it will last a long time. So far I am happy and that first night's sleep was really good. I thank them... **Oh, a side note...I was expecting a foam mattress to be light, but this one weighs pretty much the same as my 15 year old coil spring mattress... **Two week adendum** I have read a number of negative reviews about these Novilla mattresses and felt compelled to address some of them...I can only presume that some people want their expectations matched exactly OR ELSE... 1. Several complaints were about ordering a specific thickness and the actual thickness was less. Mine is a 12 inch and at first I thought it was only 10 1/4 inches after the first 12 hours. The next day (after I had slept on it BTW) it had caught up to just under 11 inches. When I put a new 9-12 inch mattress cover on it on the third day it went on a little snuggly, so yes it is a 12 " (I messured the cover thickness), and I would call that pretty exact... 2. Don't know about these strange smells I read about, I have had this mattress for two weeks and only experienced something of a "new product" smell on the first three days, then nothing else. 3. Lots of complaints about firmness on both ends of the scales. Some say too soft and others say hard as a rock...My suggestion if you are not easily pleased is to go to a local mattress store that includes "mattress in a box" types and lay down on their floor model BEFORE YOU ORDER ONLINE. For me I knew there were three different layers, a dense bottom firm support layer, a less dense middle layer that can be called "medium firm, and then the soft feeling top layer that 'YOU EXPECT TO SINK INTO A BIT'...I am 6' 2" tall, 75 years old and weigh 212 pounds, and I am enjoying my new mattress...thank you for putting up with my rant...

Quality Sleep at an Economy Price
To say that the bar was set very low for this mattress to exceed the one it was replacing is an understatement; however, it also had to live up a comparison to the comfort and quality of my full time mattress which is a sleep number. To be clear, this mattress was intended to replace a junk, coil spring mattress in my part time residence, where I wanted to maximize my comfort (and reduce pain) at a price point that made sense. Coming in at just around $300, I figured I had little to lose and, at worst, it would have to be a step above the old mattress. Imagine my utterly pleasant surprise to come and find out that this little gem not only met that low bar, but overwhelmingly exceeded it. I've had this mattress for a little over a month and have slept on it probably near three weeks out of that month. In that time what I have found is that this mattress is extremely comfortable, super easy to set up and provides just the right amount of support where I need it most. In fact, I would say that it almost.....almost provides the same comfort level and support factor as my sleep number mattress. Almost, but not quite. Pros: 1. Extremely convenient packaging and set up: A queen size mattress in a box, delivered to my doorstep. How easy is that? The box itself is hefty so you likely will need a helper to get the whole deal into position and especially when it comes time to cut the packaging and have it ready to go "inflation". Instructions provided and easy to follow. Once we properly positioned the wrapped mattress on the box spring it took a simple slice of the plastic (using the slicer provided to us in the box) and voila! new mattress. The directions tell you to allow the mattress to shape for at least 72 hours, but I was extremely hopeful that I would be able to us it that night as one more night on the old mattress was absolutely out of the question. Some people have noted that their mattresses didn't form properly or didn't reach the intended height (some even after the 72 hours) but I found that my mattress was fully formed and at the right height in no more than 12 hours. I made the choice to use it that night 2 Comfort: I've found over the years that I need a firmer mattress to alleviate much of my lower pack pain and stiffness that I've found in using mattresses of lesser quality. The one advantage of a sleep number bed is that you have 100s of different combinations available to you to find just the right amount of firmness or softness to achieve maximum comfort, and over the past year or so that I've owned it, I've found that I fall neatly within the medium firmness category (for those familiar with sleep number, I'm about a 55 to 60 setting) so having this mattresses advertised as falling into the medium to firm category was really important - and I was counting on that description being accurate. And I can tell you that , at least in my experience - it is. In fact, if I had to assign a sleep number to this mattress for comparison, my guess is that it would fall in the 65-70 range. I say this because while extremely comfortable, it does seem to be just a bit firmer than my current sleep number setting. Not enough that it creates any moderate discomfort, but just enough that I can feel the pressure. For reference - I am in the range of 180-190lbs - I can't speak to how well that level of firmness holds for someone in a different weight bracket, but my best guess is that it will hold relatively stable for most people. 3 Sturdy - I can't speak to how other foam mattresses are in this category, but when sleeping with someone else, I don't feel them moving or turning/tossing. 4 Price - Sure, you can invest in other, more expensive mattresses, foam or otherwise, for your needs, but out of the box, at this price point, you get a lot of mattress with very little downside. That being said, I cannot speak to how well it will hold up over the long term, or whether it will still be the same mattress in 1 year or even 3, but at this price point, I would be satisfied with with a handful of good quality years. Cons - Really very few to mention, but: 1 Edge support - I believe this is an issue with every foam mattress, but the edge support is absolutely not on par with a traditional mattress. That being said, it does not affect my use of the mattress one bit, but for those that need the extra support to get out of bed, or, for those that want to utilize some edge support for "extracurricular" activities - you'll find that you'll have to adjust for the lack of edge support and plan accordingly. 2 Cooling - foam mattresses in general are notorious for running warm and while this mattress attempts to compensate for it by using a cooling layer, I believe that warm sleepers are still going to find themselves sleeping warm. I generally don't tend to be a warm sleeper, so it hasn't been an issue for me, but it also certainly doesn't offer any more cooling features than any other mattress available. All in all, I rate this mattress very highly and certainly would recommend purchasing it assuming its specifications meet your needs. It's a high quality, comfortable mattress at a very affordable price point.

Helped my back pain
I switched to this Novilla Bliss Queen mattress as with my old one I’d wake up stiff back almost every morning. It showed up in a box I could actually carry upstairs myself. I let it expand overnight before using it and did not notice any significant odor from it. Honestly I was surprised how the zoned part felt. It was firmer right in the middle where my back needs the support, but my shoulders and hips could still sink in a little when I sleep on my side. The gel kept it from getting too warm even on nights when the room felt stuffy, so I wasn’t tossing and turning as much after the first few days. My back has felt better most mornings since then and it still hasn’t sagged or gone soft anywhere. It fits my queen frame fine and I didn’t need new sheets. It did take almost a week before it stopped feeling a bit too soft though, and I don’t love how much it gives when I sit on the very edge to put my shoes on. If you deal with back pain and tend to sleep warm, this one’s been a decent step up for the price. It’s not super firm or anything, but it’s helped me sleep through the night more than I expected.

Best bed I've owned so far.
This bed was easy to set up, and it inflated/expanded rather quickly. Maybe within 12hrs of opening, it was fully expanded. It's super heavy, so I believe this one is the real deal. I had the heater going so the heat helped speed up the process. Ngl, I slept on it when it was about 95% of the way done, and it STILL continued to expand even with me sleeping on it! It has now reached the full 14in thickness and is a dream to sleep on. Best night's sleep I've gotten in a long time. The price is a steal for what you get, worth every penny. I purchased some gel memory foam pillows as well and that elevated the experience. Woke up to no aches, no pain, and my lower legs, which had swelled up from working 8 days in a row, finally subsided. I felt comfortable sleeping on my side, my back, and even my stomach. Would 100% purchase again, and likely will if this brand is still around when I am finally ready to replace this one. I didn't notice any odors, definitely no sinking at 14inch thickness. Looking forward to sleeping again tonight! I have to be careful when I'm on this thing if I have somewhere to be and I decide to "lay back" on it for a little while lol. I'll be in a deep sleep if I'm not paying attention. 😆
