P1PE Petrol Garden Tiller / Rotovator / Cultivator 4 Stroke Hyundai Engine 139cc 2.5kW P140T

Great wee piece of kit. Bought it to turn over and prepare by back lawn (about 60m2) as the cost of buying it was cheaper than a week’s hire from HSS. Lifted it out the box, added oil and petrol, pulled the cord and away we went. Turned over the whole area to a fine tilth in under an hour then put it away in the garage - job done. Only a few issues.......... 1 - it brook a tooth/tine on first use, but Genpower sent me a full replacement set in no time. 2 - I bumped into a fence with the left hand side of the engine and broke the air-filter housing. Seems the plastic is pretty flimsy,but I’ll buy a spare at some point. All in all,a good purchase

Ok where do I start.....Item arrived 5 days after ordering. It is a 30kG Lump of metal with sharp blades inside an empty cardboard box with no packing, shipped half way round the World from Korea. Alarm bells ringing yet? The first one arrived with a buckled exhaust shield and smashed plug cap which had punched through the box. Amazon duely ordered a new machine as the do not keep spares and produced a ticket to say that the old one would be collected next working day(still here - luckily). Second one arrived a week later - still a 30kG lump of steel inside an empty cardboard box! This one had fallen through the bottom of the box. Bolts had fallen out in transit, carburettor housing smashed. Having swapped the original housing (I discovered was also broken but less so)with the new arrival -attempted to start it. (bolts replaced with my own stock! ) After 15 mins of trying to start, I discovered the kill switch spring had fallen off behind the carb housing.(off with the carb housing again!). Finally it started! Ok, the unit does some of what it says (hence one star rating) but unless you are a 6foot 8 inch body builder, you will struggle to control the machine and get any good results.(I am 6 foot Tall). Do not use on unprepared areas. It will clog immediately with grass and roots.

This machine was supposed to prevent me from digging a lawn the old fashioned way but as you can see from the pictures whilst I was turning over the old lawn the gearbox casing gave up and broke which turned the blades around so they are now against the top protection plate. I contacted the seller and he told me that I hit something and they wont be repairing it unless I pay for the repairs. I would strongly recommend going elsewhere if you are looking for a rotovator as this machine is not capable of doing the simplest of garden work. I cant even say the engine is good as I haven't worked the machine long enough to say how good it is. Hello Thank you for the email We have looked at the photos and we can see that the machine has hit something solid as it has bent the blade and the blade are designed to bent like that is they have hit something but the reason the gearbox has failed when the blade took the impact the operator never stopped the machine now damaged the casing We are able to get the machine uplifted and brought back to us for a repair but the cost will be down to yourselves All the best Sean
