Will this damage my designer watch?

If it were an analogue watch (not digital), it was taken apart into small pieces and only the plain metal parts chosen for cleaning with deionised water... then yes. Otherwise no, as it uses water to clean.

Is it suitable for jewellery with emeralds?

To my understanding, these types of cleaners work on ‘hard’ stones of which emeralds would belong as well as diamonds, sapphires etc. They should not be used with ‘soft’ stones such as pearls, opals etc. I am not at home at the moment so can’t access the instructions, why not pop into your local jeweller and ask advice. Hope this helps

Does this clean costume jewellery, beads and gemstones?

Yes it will but, if your jewellery beads and stones are held in position by a glue, the treatment might break down the glue and your beads, stones might be loose!!

Does it use batteries or mains power?

It’s is “powered” by mains electricity but i was very unimpressed with it and have only used it once. Jewellery looked no different even after 6/7 sessions. It’s also quite bulky.
