This is the book I have been waiting for in this series. With Samantha Young’s books there always seems to be a character in her series I just can’t wait for their story to come.We only get a small bit about Arran in book three and Ery has been in the series the whole time but there’s this underlying mystery about her. She lives alone, no one knows where she came from and she is slow to trust people but she is friends and in the inner circle of the Adair family, this made a interesting mystery for a few books.I loved getting to know Ery better both in this story and through Arran’s POV. Arran has decided he wants a relationship with his best friend Ery, the person he has connected with most since he has gotten back and even opens up about his trauma while he was gone. I'm obsessed with every book in this series, and this one didn't disappoint. I loved getting to learn more about Eredine, and this was such a sweet friends to lovers story. There were absolutely twists I didn't see coming.
