I got it to replace a similar one when the zip broke. It is slightly larger than the previous bag I owned (without being bulky), allowing plenty of space for a makeup bag, a kindle, wallet and diary in the main section, with lots of pockets for phone, keys, lip balm, headphones, shopping bag, etc. There is even space over if I want to squeeze in a hat, scarf and gloves. The strap is comfortably soft woven fabric and can extend to very long indeed as well as shorten to be a reasonable shoulder bag for all but the shortest person. Perfect for a daily use cross body bag, with good places to keep season tickets etc..
