G.I. Joe Classified Series Retro Cardback Cobra EEL, Collectible 6-Inch Action Figure with 7 Accessories

Box itself was in mint condition and wrapped with bubble wrap. For collectors this is important because the box was mint mint mint. The toy itself of coarse was in mint condition as well. All the parts fit perfectly, and the stand it comes with fits easily. Amazing detail. Best price and condition I have received one in yet. This buyer definitely takes good care of their products when shipped. You can tell they are geared for collectors with that amount of care. The toy itself is great with high detail and plenty of posing options.

Loved G.I. Joe since I was a kid and having this really reinforces the feeling. Quality, details, and the figures overall are excellent. The colors really pop and the paint application is very nice. Fits great with my 1/12th scale figures. When and if they go on sale, I'll probably buy a few more to army build them!

The Cobra Eel's are a fan-favorite from the original toyline. The first version created for the Classified line was excellent and they didn't stray too far from it on this "Retro" version. This colors are slightly different and the Cobra logo on the back of the rebreather backpack is different from the first release. Other than that, it's essentially the same figure with different packaging. While some fans complained that the first release reused too much from Torpedo, I never had any issues with it. Should you buy it if you already have the first release? That's really up to you. If you are on a budget and don't need another one, it's safe to skip this version. However, a lot of folks didn't get one of the original release, in some areas they were hard to find. So this is a great way to get a popular figure. Also, this is another one of those "Army Builder" figures that is good to have multiple copies of. For me, it's a easy yes. I loved the original, the first Classified version and now this Retro version. A wonderful example of what the Classified series can be for the fans.

I enjoy this Cobra Eel figure! It feels solid, looks like the ARAH 3 inch figure brought to six inch scale with just the right amount of detail added. Articulation is great. His diving helmet with hoses clear visor is awesome. The flippers feel real. Love them. The old school packaging is fun. I normally toss Classified packaging but I am keeping this retro card. Two reasons I am not giving five stars: 1) I hate GI Joe Classified figures' hands. It is challenging to get them to hold accessories and weapons, and this figure is especially bad in that regard. I don't know why more people don't complain about this. We play with the toys and it is takes away playability when a figure cannot easily hold items. 2) Eels are underwater engineers. The ARHA 3 inch figure came with a combo spear gun and drill, yes drill, that had very good detail at that scale. The Classified version comes with a simple spear gun, no drill. They could have done a lot more with the engineer component of this character at the 6 inch scale and instead seem to have taken it completely away.

Great figures and overall a good collection. Wish these were around when I was a kid!
