PET Standard Pet Food Mat for Catit & Drinkwell Fountains

I searched many mats before deciding on this one, and I'm so glad I chose this one!! It's so much better than any of the others I found (I really can't say enough good things about it, but I'll try)...It's: -thicker (def the thickest most durable mat I've seen) -bigger (most mats were not this large) -got the largest lip, none of the others with side walls had walls that went up this high!! -super easy to clean/maintain, u can just wipe it, or u can hand wash it in the sink (it says dishwasher safe too, but it's so easy to just wipe clean) -made of a very good plastic, it's not flimsy like all of the other mats I saw (they were like a soft silicone that if u hold it, it would just flop down, this one is a hard plastic that doesn't give and holds it's shape completely..yet it's so thick it won't break easily!! -so large that it holds a big 3.2L fountain with room to spare!!! This mat is advertised more to just go with that lil flower fountain, and yes they do look cute together, but I wanted a stainless steel fountain (which keeps the water nice n cold btw) that had a large capacity for water (only have to fill it every few days with 2 cats), cleaned well (unlike those plastic fountains that can get an un-cleanable grimeyness, this one always looks good), has a window to see water level (and at night u can see the blue LED lighting up the window), and looked like a sink spout for my tap licking kitty..so this fountain is perfect for us (it actually got her to stop licking taps, and actually drink water), but I wanted a good mat..and it turns out that this is the only mat on Amazon that is made well like this, all the rest r soft silicone like with short walls.. •so even if u have a large fountain like ours, this mat still works beautifully, and it looks pretty cool... •the only thing I would say that I wish they had with this mat, is more design options...as this mat is so good, it shouldn't only b marketed for use with that flower fountain, it's the only really good mat on here, so y not have more design options... The leaf is cute, but would I prefer a different design, perhaps (as the leaf doesn't exactly make sense with a non-floral fountain)...I wasn't exactly looking for a 'leaf' looking mat, but the perks outweighed the fact that it wouldn't b my first design choice..it still looks cool, but it wasn't aestheticslly what I was looking for... But really it's your ONLY OPTION for such a well made mat..y not have more looks for it? Maybe even just a simple option like a grey rectangle, but still made with that thick plastic and the super high walls...but that's just a small suggestion, not a complaint.. ALL IN ALL THIS IS A KILLER MAT AND THERE ISN'T A SINGLE BAD THING TO SAY ABOUT IT!!! If u need a mat for your pet's water, this really is the perfect one (even if u don't have that flower fountain)!!! Hopefully my review has been helpful, ik that I appreciate the reviews that have helped me to decide on products, so hopefully this helps others as well

This was the perfect size for my cat's water fountain! The lip on the side especially helps so no water gets out.

I bought a kitty fountain (actually the one picture with the flower on top) and my cat LOVES it. But he also loves making a mess. He dribbles water everywhere, and I have the fountain out in the living room, separate from his food & water dish in the kitchen. I'm trying to encourage him to drink more water. It works! Only, like I said, he is a dribbler and I don't want water on my hardwood floors and I didn't want to lay down a towel which would look bad and get musty and gross. Voila! Enter this handy tray, which sits right underneath the fountain and while the occasional drop might escape to the floor, it's rare. This tray catches most every drop and is spacious enough to hold a dish of food if you need it for that, or to drop a few treats on. It can also catch the crumbs. It's easy to pick the whole thing up and give it a rinse or a wash when it needs it. (I'm not sure about dishwasher-safe because I don't have a dishwasher, but it looks like it would be - it's sturdy plastic). Lastly, it's cute! Now his water fountain is atop a cute little lily pad and I can have something aesthetically pleasing and he can drink his water with dribbly abandon!

This is the PRETTIEST pet food tray! I bought it with the Catit mini water fountain, and love it! It is far sturdier than what I was using. The former tray I was using was actually TWO trays stacked because they were so thin. This Lilly pad leaf tray is thick enough to only need one. The leaf veins are grooved so that it catches any water spillage, but also traps dry food crumbles. However, a quick sponge up is easy to do. I put a purple flower shaped silicone trivet at the wider end with a clear bowl of dry food on it. The trivet makes it look like a flowering Lilly pad!

This has been a lifesaver for my carpet. My cat enjoys digging in its water fountain, which used to soak my carpet, but this lovely tray has kept my carpet dry.

I am very happy with this product. We have 3 cats and the transition from bowl to the water fountain was very seemless. I like the base that it sits in, though that is mainly needed for the food. I find that the. And drink very easily from the fountain. The pump will let you know when the water starts to run low. I wildnt go too long with low water as you risk burning up the pump. The reservoir is pretty good, so even with 3 cats you only need to fill every couple of days. As far as filter replacement , when the water does not go through the filter when filling, you may notice a film on the top. Good time to clean out the inside and replace the filter. I am happy I purchased it and know the cats are better off now, and their feeding station is a lot cleaner.

The world is a sweater unravelling at present, and I'm curiously optimistic at what we might reweave it into...sometimes in the moment it can be overwhelming. Any opportunity to add joy to our lives is an opportunity we should take. This lily pad might not be your joy, but I am delighted every time I see it. I appreciate it's delightful whimsy. The cats love the Catit Flower fountain which sits on it. The flowing fountain encourages them to drink more, but the fountain does splash a bit. We live in a hard water area, so the splashing left residue around the fountain. I haven't had the lily pad long, but I fully anticipate it'll have hard water residue on it in short order, as everything else does. I'm eager to see if it easy to clean this off, but I don't know, therefore to be conservative I gave it a 4 rating, rather than 5 for easy to clean, just based on past experience with other household items. I appreciate those who packed,shipped and delivered this to me. I hope you all remain safe and healthy!

We got this for our ferrets' cage because the traditional style feeder dripped a lot, and they just didn't enjoy it (their favorite was to drink water out of the palm of our hands). Admittedly, it took them a little to figure out what this was and how to use it, but once they got the hang of it (and not taking a shower in it lol), they love it. It's easy to tell when the water is getting low because you can hear it. Think of how a glass of water sounds when you're pouring it - when there's not a lot of water in it, it's loud, but as it fills, the pour gets quieter. Same with this. When it gets low, suddenly it's noticeable - I grab a large glass and simply add water to the flowing water. When it's near-silent, it's full. You can hear it, but it's a very relaxing sound, and when enough water is in it you barely hear it. It's cute, and the tray below it has helped us with mess.

This product is just what we needed. It has already earned its keep after the fountain started to leak. It is a good size for fountain and food bowl for our cat and will not be as subject to folding and cracking as our other 'placemat' has done. I quite like the lilypad/leaf design as well. Would recommend it to others.
