Huge difference in quality and sound in my at home studio! For me, these acoustic panels work amazingly and have made a huge change. The adhesive dots make for easy installation. Be sure to firmly press/hold the dots on the foam for a few seconds (5-10) before attempting to peal off the yellow sticker. This I found makes it easier for getting the yellow part off. The thickness of the panels is quite uniform throughout and minimal deformations (edges) if any. Great value for quality and quantity! I will definitely buy more in the future! 10/10 recommend

These are great, with one exception
First thing's first, I really like these sound dampening panels. They cancel out a lot of echo and deaden the room really well. I also appreciate that unlike egg crate or other repeated pattern, this are a nice differing pattern when mounted 90 degrees from one another each other panel. The two rooms I've installed these have a much better sound, without any echo or noticeable sound waves bouncing off the walls, even in a really clean recording. I have purchased many batches of these over the past month. They are terrific. I found them easy to mount with the supplied stickers. I was doing it wrong for the first 5 or so, trying to pull the backer off of the dot "free hand", before I stuck one to the foam. Terrible idea. If you peel & stick in place, push pretty hard, the adhesive won't let the dots separate from the foam. Then it is a lot easier to bend the foam (and sticker on it), remove the cover and go. The only problem is that some batches come where they won't separate themselves from the adhesive that keeps them compressed. Another user posted a video having the same problem. I put pictures here to show you, when it happens, it is always on one side as they try to expand. They won't get unstuck no matter how long you wait. The first time I saw this, I meticulously went piece by piece trying to separate the adhesive, which then disappears, trying not to tear the foam. It never made them look as good as the batches I got w/o the stuck ones. MOST that I bought, including entire packages worth, were perfect and after very little time unwrap, were in usable shape. In the latest batch, there were a couple bunches with the adhesion again. I thought I'd try my heat gun. I noticed that the foam itself expands even further, like leaving them unwrapped longer would do. The heat gun didn't do much for the adhesive, though. I had read another user mention a steamer (thanks whomever you are), and I have one so I tried it. It was WAY more productive that pulling them apart by hand, which never looked like the other good ones. The steamer made many of them exactly the same size & look as the "normal" pnes. On some difficult edges, it didn't make them perfect, but significantly better. Without this final occasional step, I'd give five stars. If you get this problem, try steam or maybe even a very hot bath/soak as the maker suggests. I just didn't want to wait another day or so for them to dry. I'm always impatient on projects like these. Best of luck to you. These things are great!

Just as Good as the Expensive Name Brand
Works just as good as the expensive name brand accoustic foam that costs $1000 to do a single room.

Save your money these do not work
Product does not do as promised. It’s generic foam that does ZERO to reduce noise. The adhesive is a little on the crappy side as well. Installing was Ok but for the amount of money I spent these DO NOT WORK. Definitely not worth the money . Build quality is ok.

Amazing for price but comes with a few small downsides
These acoustic foam panels are great. They are very durable compared to what I’ve used, very thick for the price, and I can’t say much for sound quality yet. I haven’t been able to test them in my booth. The only downside is that you have to wait a very long time for them to dry. I soaked them in a bath tub and then put them in the dryer and they were not dry. I did also buy 48 of them. But they are still sitting infront of a fan. They hold on to moisture very well. I would suggest letting them just sit out in the open for 48 hours instead of soaking them. Not the easiest to install because there isn’t many points of contact. But the adhesive it comes with works great. Overall. Great product. Looks good but comes with the price of not being able to stick as well as other foam panels.

Quick Fix to decompress panels
I see many pictures posted here of the sound panels not fully restored to their original size due to the vacuum packing. The instructions say to soak the panels in water, but do not follow those instructions!! It will take days for those panels to dry. Instead put the panels into your clothes dryer at VERY low heat (not air dry) for around 15 minutes. You will find that this takes care of nearly all of the compression. what little may remain can be rubbed with your fingers and restored fully. I didn’t even bother using the ‘resting period’ subsequent purchase; straight from the box to the dryer and viola!Limit your dryer to max of six at a time.

Give them time to reshape
The noise reduction is about 70%. I used them on the ceiling to reduce upstairs foot noise. I can still hear squeaky boards and footsteps. Conversations are muted, but still audible. The sticky dots are worthless. They are difficult to get the paper off and then don’t stick to the wall. Buy something else that will work. I used gorilla spray adhesive. I opened the packages and allowed 3 days for them to expand and several still never expanded on the edges. If you tug gently, some will expand, others will tear. So be careful. Easy to cut to shape around corners or airvents.

Good sound dampening and accoustics
Giving this a 4/5 purely because of the randomness of the foam pieces coming deformed and some needing a bit of time and "love". I purchased three 24 packs to cover a small room I use as an office and as a recording studio, I chose these because I record at night when my toddler who shares a wall with my office is trying to sleep but also to help with acoustics in the room... the weak spots in a room are always going to be the door and a seam on the walls where it meets the ceiling so right outside the office/studio the sound dampening isnt that good. Catty corner in the bedroom some sound could be heard but not much and not clearly(thats a win) and same in my daughters room that shares a wall I covered in these panels.. inside the room the acoustics are excellent and very very little outside sound gets in if any (it's kind of eerie to be honest) - out of 72 panels 5-6 needed a bit of time hanging out in a hot room and also a bit of gentle pulling to get to decompress- didn't have any panels that didn't eventually come to life with most of them doing so instantly after unpackaging...I reccomend opening a window while installing these since compacted foam just has a weird smell but it eventually dissipates..overall I'm not sound engineer but these look good and perform well for the price
