However, it appears to be malfunctioning now. Only our 5th night at home. The green light gives a few normal flashes then won't stop flashing for a good few seconds. I check baby while this happens and she's breathing normally and not wriggling. I researched all monitors and given this was the only one medically approved I gave it a go. I opted for the extended mat package as I'd had loads of feedback from other monitors giving false alarms on wriggly sleepers. This worked amazingly! I never had one false alarm, and it completely put my mind at rest. The green flashing light was reassuring so that you knew it was working, and it lasted 2.5years before the battery needed changing. The alarm is rather loud when you forget to turn it off, but it quickly became habbit to turn on and off. A mi me ayudó a dormir y a estar más tranquila, con eso de la muerte súbita estaba preocupada e intranquila, como tod@s me imagino.
