For Me, INSTANT Plantar Fascitiis Relief
Plantar Fascitiis story: used to walk 3-5 miles every day. Daily salads. I weighed 180lbs, felt great. I started pushing myself up towards 10 miles a day. I got lazy with my diet. Wasn't getting proper hydration. So my aging joints dried out, and I started feeling heel pain. Didn't know what it was and decided to "tough it out," and "push through" - and ended up tearing both Plantar Fascitiis tendons in the heels of both feet. It wasn't all at once - started in one foot, moved to the next when I over-compensated, I read that such pain was common for my age at the time and just thought I'd lay off the walking for a while, but the pain soon got the point that I had to take time off from work to try and heal what I learned were torn tendons. Turns out most people heal from Plantar Fascitiis injuries in 3 to 6 months. Five Years later. Minus work I'm largely sedentary. I weigh 240 lbs. I hesitate before standing up to go to the bathroom because I have to hobble everywhere and it simply HURTS to stand. For each 8 hour shift at work I put on THICK heel cups/pads, strap on heel cushions to keep them in place (often digging into the tops of my feet and/or STILL sliding all around) and then I put on shoes with extra arch supports - with a large dose of Ibuprofen as well - just to make it through a shift, after which, I come home and my feet thump comically like some old WB cartoon, as I kick myself for not getting a snack while I was still in the kitchen and had all my gear on. Twice a year for the past two years I've gotten steroid shots injected into my feet and/or taken steroid pills which GREATLY reduces the pain... for about a month tops, often greatly for a week, then slowly building back up to the point where I just don't want to stand. Then, a few days ago, I decided that my 6-month-old padded house-slippers were proving inadequate, and ordered these. Oh My God!!! When I unwrapped them and felt them I thought, wow these are HARD - they're going to HURT! But when I put them on and stood up... my heels sank about an inch into them... with no pain! I walked around the house laughing because I wasn't limping or hobbling like I often do in my thinly padded house slippers... I was WALKING as if I had all that gear on AND a prescription pain killer... just... no pain! Now in all fairness, that honeymoon phase quickly wore off and I realized that the injuries were still there and that it was better to walk with the heel pads AND these new slippers, but I can afford to be lazy again if I just need to "run" to the bathroom now because these are SO cushy my heels just sink right in, but the centers are solid support for my arches as well, and though I can't say I love the look or the flip-flop style, they're PERFECT for just getting around the house, and the comfort for my heels is so startling that I'm considering taking them to work with black socks or something. I'm thinking these are so supportive and cushy that could actually give my tendons time to heal. SO nice to be able to just... walk again! May not be like that for everybody, for a heavy-set, middle-aged man with foot problems... worth writing a review for. I'll try to remember to update in a few days/weeks. 1st Update: Wore them to work. They're slip-resistant too, which is nice, but after 8 hours on my feet, my buscuits were burning again for sure. I forgot to take additional arch support, but I WAS wearing heel cups with the padded strapped cups on top of those. So the bad news is that even with these inch-deep shoes, latex heel cups AND padded strapped heel cups, my heels STILL burn half the night while I'm working, and I get home and just don't want to get up again. But... I made it HALF THE NIGHT without serious pain!!!! Don't know how long they'll last, but for now... worth every penny. 2nd Update: Almost a month later, these are pretty much my new shoes. At the moment, because I work nights, I'm getting away with it at work, but I wear these pretty much everywhere, I just wear more padding when I'm on the job. After a month, I can say my injuries still suck, but that I've drastically reduced the amount of ibuprofen I was taking. I mean I was doing 8 pills a night to get through work. Now I'm forgetting to bring them with me, and IF I need them when I get home I might take some, but the sheer thickness of these things - mixed with the strength of the arch - have been perfect for me. Can't guarantee it'll be the same for everyone (everyone's plantar fascitiis is different I've heard), but I don't care how they look - ANY relief is welcome, and these have been amazing so far. 3rd Update: Six months later and these are still my go-to shoes. My boss caught me and rightly explained the liability issues, making me purchase a pair of Crocs with toe covers, but they SUCK compared to these bad boys, so again, because I work nights, I can generally get away with it, and I just bring the Crocs as back-up in case the boss shows up early. Around the house, they're the perfect slippers, and occasionally I've forgotten that I was injured and found myself moving quickly around like I was under 50 again. I'm taking Prednisone steroid pills this month, which GREATLY reduces the pain - albiet only for the time you're taking the pills, really - the anti-inflammatory effects wear off almost completely within 24-48 hours of taking your last dosage, but I'm taking the pills every OTHER day to stretch out the overall effect, and with these shoes, I've actually been accused of FAKING my injuries because I'm moving like a normal person - NOT HOBBLING and LIMPING - around the workplace. Call me names all you like, I just smile ear to ear because these slippers have been worth it. I think ultimately, I'm going to need a whole new diet and a pretty major overhaul of my exercise patterns to properly stretch the tendons. I've developed heel spurs as well, and may require eventual surgery or Plasma Platelet Therapy or something (both beyond my means at the moment), but until then, these suckers are making a life-altering difference, so at the risk of sounding like I work for them, I'm serious when I say THANK YOU Bronax. 4th Update: 8 months later I had to buy a new pair. About a month or more ago, I noticed the right shoe starting to "stick" to the floor, almost like a suction cup. I didn't know what was going on, but there was nothing sticky on the sole, it just has these breathing holes that got larger over time, and I guess started creating a suction-cup effect under the right arch area. It wasn't a deal breaker, but we've got hardwood floors, so they "stick" everywhere, and I noticed increasing pain over the past month, so I thought I'd pretty much worn them down with constant use. Luckily, they're on sale right now for $20 bucks a pair, but as soon as I got the new ones I thought the same thing - oh no, the new ones are going to be too hard and stiff, they'll HURT! But whew! Just like before, almost instantaneous relief. Not a cure, but a HUGE help, and when I compare the soles, yeah, after 8 months, the treads on the bottom are nearly smooth compared to the new ones, which have deep, pronounced grooves. For the discounted price, I might just buy another pair and hold onto them for 8 months, lol. Hope that helps someone else, take care, and thanks again, Bronax! Best walking I've had without meds in 5 years.

These have made my feet feel so much better!
After months of wearing these what they call support slides, my feet have literally improved 100%. I had knots underneath my feet and my heel was hurting so bad. The knots that felt like nodules are gone and the ache in my heel is 75% better. These are just awesome. One word of honest caution, is that they raise you up about 1 inch or so taller and they are rubber and you have to maintain your balance and make sure that they donโt get caught and you trip. So take caution there. I wear them all the time inside the house. They also offer very good arch support and are very comfortable.

Perfect for my heel pain
Pros: very comfortable; bought for plantar fasciitis and they are great around the house; wear with socks or without; good price Cons: sizing is way off so I had to return first pair.(why 4 stars) I am a size 6-6.5 and that size was huge! The 4.5-5 size fit perfect. Don't run in house in these slippers, the heel is so high you could slip out of them and hurt yourself! I'm sure it is high because it has a lot of support which is a pro!

Less therapeutic more cosmetic
These slides are not the same quality as the leading companies who specialize in recovery footwear . Theyโre very basic in every way. I will say theyโre comfortable and I will definitely be wearing them this summer, however, I donโt think my feet will be doing any recovery in them if anything they just wonโt hurt as much. I have fallen arches on both feet from running track that can be quite painful if standing for long periods of time. Because they donโt come in specific sizes and half sizes thereโs very little side support unless you have really wide feet. I bought these and I bought the comfort slippers. They do have more support than their cloud slippers. I would say if youโre looking for something to throw on to run to the store or the beach or whatever these are a good choice they come in great colors, but theyโre not therapeutic, more cosmetic. The second picture top is the recovery slide in Black. The foot bed is harder and has more of an arch than the cloud slippers. Your foot doesnโt stick to them like other brands and the cloud slippers are much softer, and your heel sinks further down, but does not have any arch support. Theyโre also wide because of sizing options. My foot went from a 7 1/2 to an 8 1/2 and sometimes 9. So I sized down. Hope this clarifies and helps ppl understand and weigh their options.

The sizing is very inconsistent between colors
I would give 5 stars for comfort, but the annoyance of having to return and exchange for a bigger size because different colors have inconsistent sizing takes it down a star. It would be more understandable if these were from different styles or on different listings, but I chose the buy again option for a shoe that I already knew fit me, so I was very disappointed. Grey color is significantly smaller than the other colors - same might be true for the pink ones. When I purchased the other colors, grey and pink were not available, so maybe they changed the molds since then. All other colors but the grey ones run really large. I wear a size 5.5 women's shoe. I previously ordered 1 black and 2 purple colors in this shoe in the 4-5.5 size and all 3 pairs fit like a 6-6.5 women's. I ordered the same shoe from this listing in the grey color this time in the same 4-5.5 size and it runs very small, it fits like a size 5 women's. You can see from my photo the size difference between the purple and the grey - these shoes are both 4-5.5 size selection and the grey one is significantly smaller. I love these shoes as house slippers, they work great in the summer without socks and in the winter with socks. I wanted another pair as a quick slip on option to run some quick errands outside/take the trash out/go to the pool/do a quick grocery run etc

Super comfy house slides
Super comfy slides, even wore them a few times on walks but would not recommend doing that often as they are very soft and walking out in public for long lengths does feel rough after a bit.

Not just your Grandma's footwear
While they may look a little clunky and ugly, these are extremely comfortable, especially if you have bunions or other foot issues. I have no shame so I will wear these in public with socks, getting old has his benefits!

Narrow and unforgiving
Narrow with no give, very stiff upper and squishy platform was uncomfortable. I wore them once then gave them away.

Arch support!
I'm obsessed with cloud slides and these - my fourth pair - might be my new favourites. The sole cushion is excellent, and this is the first pair I've had with arch support. Love!
